Visiden Whines It: Where the Apple Lies · 10:38pm Oct 8th, 2016
You'd think that an episode about "lying is bad" would be done way back in season 1, not the tail end of this season.
I like angry matriarch Granny Smith. She reminds me of my own grandmother on my father's side. She had to deal with a severely dysfunctional family, but she kept them in line.
I like how they brought up the issue of who actually runs the farm, even if it is just mildly touching it.
Didn't like Talky Big Mac as much. He sounds like Flim and Flam's other brother. And he has Limestone Pie's mane.
Spoiled Milk!? Who names their daughter Spoiled Milk? I mean cheese is basically the same thing, but if there's a reason why we invented the word cheese is so that we don't have to call it spoiled milk. I don't want to hear any complaints about my pony naming then when the show itself has names like Stinky Bottom and Spoiled fucking Milk.
Yes, I saw the leak. Like a protagonist from a Final Destination movie, I just had a horrifying vision of a future catastrophe. Christ, what was that thing from the second part? A creature born of the foulest fanfiction!
I was sort of surprised to see Filthy Rich play such a prominent role in the story. Kind of interesting to see him as an enthusiastic young business man, instead of just the father of the town bully.
I haven't seen the leak yet. But I've heard whispers of an unspeakable madness. I'll reserve judgment until I too witness said horrors.
God has judged us, and found us wanting. These are the heralds of His wrath, come to end it all.

Filthy Rich was great in this episode. He's a so-so villain, but a fantastic supporting character. I wish we saw more of him like this.

I never saw him as a villain. He always seemed like a decent fellow who just happened to be an inept dad and had horrible taste in mares.

He was definitely made out to be a villain in Legend of Everfree, when his human counterpart was threatening to bulldoze the camp and build a spa resort if the owners couldn't pay their debts to him in time. He's been a villain in the comics a few times as well.

All the more reason for me to never touch any Equestria Girls movie. Let's take a decent male character and make him evil. Because, clearly, there's an overabundance of those in MLP.
