Aside from occasional fits of hopelessness, I'm fine. Still job-hunting. Still haven't fixed the computer issue, but it seems stable for the moment.
Now for some story talk...
Crusader's End: I am seriously considering cancelling this. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I can't seem to figure out what I want to do with the story. In addition, I'm very uncomfortable with Crusader bashing now. (I wrote it during a period when I was extremely frustrated with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, who seemed at the time to be as blind and unwilling to change as they are in the Tryptich Continuum.
(While we're on the subject, I would like to officially recommend all Tryptich Continuum stories, all of them written by Estee. Hell, Estee's works in general are some of the best I've read.)
Now, though, the Crusaders have their marks and are mellowed out. I no longer detest them as much as I used to. Plus, I'm no longer comfortable writing the hyper-angry Twilight from that story either...
Broken Sun: Updates on that are going to be extremely slow. I want to handle this carefully, to the point where when I do I have chapter ready for it, I want at least three pre-readers to look at it to make sure I'm handling the issue delicately and with respect.
Reform School: I know what I want the next chapter to be and I know what the ending will be. However, I'm having trouble getting from point A to point B... Anyone interested in a collab?
And now, time for story CONCEPTS...
Angst? What Angst?: Essentially, this story will cover why Rainbow Dash is so chill about the Mare-Do-Well and Cookie Zombie incidents. Third chapter will also cover why Twilight wasn't bothered by her friends seemingly turning on her during the Wedding fiasco.
G.I. Joe vs. The Conversion Bureau: G.I. Joe receives a mysterious warning from a tearful, desperate Princess Celestia, who begs whomever is listening to kill her and her entire race on sight, that it's too late to save them. The message came from space, the date of initial sending several months ago. The next day, the invasion of the ponies begin. Only instead of using anti-tech devices and relying only on magic, they're bringing tech of their own to fight on equal terms with G.I. Joe. Can they stop them? Will Cobra help save the world?
If I do make the G.I.Joe one, I may make it a Patreon exclusive as a way of encouraging more patrons...
