Fallout Equestria: Silver Lining Q&A · 2:50am Aug 19th, 2016
Hey guys! If any of you have any questions regarding the lore of what the hell is happening in my story, Fallout Equestria: Silver Lining, then ask here as a comment on this post. To answer questions (I'll have to see if this is okay with the ToS of fimfic) I will collect about 10 or so and answer them in a psudo-book akin to the Fallout Bible by Chris Avallone.
As the author, I personally want to make sure everyone understands the lore and the general idea of what exactly is going on in the world of Fallout Equestria. Countless books such as all the listed Canon ones on the Fallout Equestria wiki will be able to explain the lore, but in not so much detail as I will. Plus, who has the time to read a 4500 page book like project Horizons, just to find out what cereal pinkie pie ate before the bombs fell. Was it Apple Bombs or was it Atomic Wheat crunchies, etc. (Don't seriously ask this question. I will probably ignore it or mention you in the authors note of the next chapter of FoE Silver Lining as a silly pony with no life). Q&A open!

What kind of Power Armor gameplay mechanics are you using?
Do you do it like in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas or more like in Fallout 4?
If you do the latter, will she later make use of the new features?

Well I know for a fact I'm using Fallout 4 related armor, I wanted to use it because I needed power armor to be more common later on in the book. The power armor used in Fallout 4 also gives a sense of urgency to like, not fight in it. Since the Fusion cores run out of juice.
And to answer your second question, yes and no. As much as I love love love the jetpack, it won't be implemented. It is too reminiscent of the enclave. And since the enclave isn't actually destroyed yet in this book. I can probably, though, assume they would fly down and kick earth pony ass if they found out we had a jetpack, since they don't want ponies to get up to their cloud cities. (And psst, ima tell you right now that the Los Pegasus cloud district was a large hub of arms dealing to the front and had a Pegasus military base outside town.(I'll let y'all think about that) Though I will try and do any other enhancements along the way that I can.
Will there be any Changelings in this story?
While not impossible, since bugs are relatively immune to radiation, it's probably very hard to find any love in the wasteland.
Or maybe the first changeling had already been introduced? (Who of them could secretly be a Changeling?)
4185310 secret changelings might be introduced as a sort of replacement for Unity(due to the hive mind mentality). Since at the time of this story Trixie had just barely begun building her alicorn army. There may be a cameo of several alicorns later but thats hush hush top secret writer only info(I don't know yet).
Though I think a changelings would be awesome and expect me to at least think about that.
Also if you become my editor then you will have access to my plans and stuff. But it's top secret.
