Just saw Suicide Squad. · 6:39pm Aug 6th, 2016
Okay, I don't know what critics expect from a superhero movie, but it clearly isn't what I expect from a superhero movie, because I absolutely loved Suicide Squad. As far as I'm concerned, it's a toss-up between this movie and Deadpool for best superhero movie of 2016.
Equal but different I'd say.
Kevin Smith liked it. That's all the praise I need to hear to at least give it a shot. Hopefully Monday I'll be able to run out and see it finally.
It was nowhere near Deadpool. But it was pretty decent anyway.
I liked it overall, but Jared Leto's Joker was terrible. I don't know how much was the writing and how much was the actor, but it was the worst Joker I've ever seen. Margot Robbie made up for it with what was my favourite Harley Quinn, but Joker really bummed me out. He's usually my favourite character whenever he appears, but every scene he was in was dull for me.

Yea, it was fun, but it was no Deadpool. Deadpool is firing on all cylinders - the only person doing it in SS is Margot Robbie. Will Smith works well too, but the rest of the team is like...extraneous.
I also loved it! Kinda wish that everyone got equal attention though. Could have used more Boomerang and Croc. Loved Harley. Joker was freaky, and I loved him as well. Was worth the ten bucks.
Eh, I had fun watching it. Loved Harley and Deadshot, the others were fine. The Joker was more a Freddie Mercury looking Penguin to me. It felt like a video game so I've been calling it [PrototypeDC]. Fuck Batman. Fuck him. Did not like the ending, and the longer Crock was on screen the worse he looked.
