Well, today is my fourth anniversary of being on FimFic and being in the fandom
Seems like just yesterday I was a scrappy little 8th grader posting dank memes on deviantart

Most likely the growth of this site, really. Four years ago this place felt like home, and a big part of the users were shitposters and other folk of that calibre and people bumbling at writing fanfics, now it's just authors too serious for their own good, lurkers, critics, collaborators and other people who treat this site too seriously.
But it must all come with growth.

Ah, the inevitable anniversary. We all wear a recorded set of numbers depicting a point in time when we made some damnable commitment, yet some instances require celebrating, apparently. I don't get the appropriate parameters, really. I mean, I remember the day when I started smoking, but... nobody ever sent me flowers! WHAT THE FUCK!? Shameful.
So yeah, another year comes and goes on FiMFiction. I guess all that really matters is that other folks notice and CARE about it, mm? It isn't about our recognition - the thoughts and wishes of others make it anything other than another shitty passage, eh. I care about it.
