Wada Kouji has passed away...

Well this is a sad turn of event...

For those who don't know Wada Kouji was the main singer for the Digimon animated series, having his debut with the immortal Butter-fly theme song of the original Digimon Adventure. He was back just recently to perform a remix for Digimon adventure Tri. After battling throat cancer multiple times in the last ten years, it seems to have finally beat him. He was only 42.

Digimon is a big part of who I am as a fan of animation and general geek. It was the first big fandom I really took part of... to see a part go away like that is just incrdibly sad... stupid cancer.
