Well then.
College has been really, really hard on me lately, but I've finally finished my finals. This means, of course, that I'm back on the website.
I never really left -- I'm always lurking, like a vulture glooming over a sick cow -- but this is official, on the account that for a while I'll have nothing to do but write. So the next blog in the romance series should pop up soon, and ditto a couple stories I'm currently working on.
That's good, right? Right?

Hell yeah it's neat! I'm working on both different and samey stuff, so y'all should have something to look forward to. I'm also making a conscious effort of keeping my works short, or at least shorter than usual. Lately I've been unable to write anything under 12k, and it's really getting on my nerves.
I know that some people don't see it as bothersome? But I think it's a problem. A story is only as good as its worse part. And, while I don't like to admit it when I'm writing them, most of my stories have a lot of stuff that could be trimmed down and the end result would have been an improvement.
Plus, this guy actually makes a cute pairing with that one jock, and I like how he has a positive attitude
On top of that, I'm really pushing myself to write stuff out of my comfort zone. That way I can try to grow a little as a writer, as I feel like I've been a little pigeonholed lately. You don't need to worry about it, however -- I'll make sure the end result is enjoyable from a reader's perspective, and not just a boring exercise in writing.
The best thing about this is that, hopefully, everything should come up soon. I can't really make any promises because, well, life tends to be hard to predict. But I'm already making progress, and I'm confident. I also have a ferret telling me to write whenever I log on Skype, so that's a plus too.

Ah, before I forget it -- I wanted to give y'all something special to make this blog not pointless, but I had no idea what to do. The well was dry, and I didn't want to force any wacky random bullsh*t for the sake of making this look OH-SO-HILARIOUS. I can just tape myself getting my ass beat by a toddler and post it if I wanna do that.
I asked my friends what to do, and Selbi quickly came to the rescue. He asked me to wait one second, and five minutes later he had written a userscript to run on this website.
"Cool!" I said. "What does it do?"
"Reveals the truth. Give it to your followers so they can run it too!"
He wouldn't give me any more details, so I had to run it myself.

I'm going to agree with you on this. I want to say that even your bad stuff is good, because I associate you mainly with good stuff and my brain wants to deny you have bad stuff and more words from you could only be good, trimming your work down would probably benefit your stuff a lot.
