Wow.
I've just returned home from the first Brony UK Convention in Mane-chester and it has been simply extraordinary. I've attended a few cons in the past but I've never had such a fun time. The events were awesome, the Pinkie Pie Party with Lazer pon3 was epic as were the sets by Rainbowcrash88 and the Fighting is Magic music team. And the after BUCK piss-up at FAB, the Manchester nerd bar was an exercise in serendipidous awesome.
Best part of all was the Britannia Plush I have been making for the past month went in the charity auction for a whopping £1000!! ($1570.60/1272.57 Euro) I was literally stunned and for the whole day I have been an emotional wreck over it. Makes me think that, perhaps, plush making may be a valuable use of my time as well as being immensely enjoyable.
2nd best of all. My fanfic 'Britannia & the Holy Hoof-Grenade' had made its way into the conbook and I also won the Flash-fiction competition with a little section from the upcoming part 2 in Britannia's story. The theme for that piece was 'Heartbreak' and unfortunately we'll be seeing a lot of that in Britty's life. she can handle it though, she has the stiffest of upper lips :P
I'll post the right links here as soon as UK of Equestria stops being overwhelmed. No doubt everypony has things to shout about there.
