Hello friends,
Home sweet home. After three months of hell, it's a sweet feeling indeed.
But I'm back in business, and eager to get back to writing my story. Thanks again to everyone that wrote me emails or commented while I was gone. Reading them all took almost an entire day. 833 some odd notifications, wow. You guys stayed busy.

And to prove my thanks, I wrote a quick little teaser from a future chapter.
I wouldn't say it;s particularly spoiler-y. But if you hard set on experiencing the story as intended, you might want to avoid it.
I just wanted to wipe the dust off my fic and hopefully spark my little operation back to life.

A Marine from my unit was killed.
I went down Monday for the funeral ceremonies.
I was an honor guard. I strayed with him until his funeral this morning.
Rough week, I buried a brother. But I'm glad we we're able to give him the burial he deserved.
Sorry for getting sappy. I'm still working on 8. But now I have a week of school to catch up on.
The DoD wrote me letters of absence but college professors can be dicks sometimes.
