Well, I did, so, y'know... Somebody better pick up that phone because you guys called it.
But after I respawned, I decided it was time to get ready for Part TWO of TTEOAP.
Now, originally, Part Two was going to be more of the same. But that didn't really appeal to me very much. It didn't challenge me. It didn't make me feel like I was doing anything special. And every part needs to be special, bar none.
Now, as we all know, the theme of TTEOAP has been taking bad ideas, horrible tropes, and toxic material, swirling it together in a nauseating soup, and finding some way of creating something enjoyable for the whole family. Make it funny, compelling, and just have fun with stuff that just shouldn't work.
So I sat down in front of myself and asked just how I could escalate this nonsense. Naturally the first thing I did was destroy that imposter, but he posed a good question. So I set out and sailed across the seven seas (See Also: Took a Shower to produce Shower Thoughts) until I had a painful epiphany. I took it straight to close friends and they all gagged and retched in horror.
I believe Bugsy's words were, "If anyone but you told me this, I would say this is a stupid idea and it will never work. So instead, I'll just say this is a stupid idea."
"But it will probably work?"
"You might kill a few people with synopsis-cringe, but other than that, yeah."

Now, my first choice was Sonic The Hedgehog because it made me sick to my stomach, but my delicate complexion can only handle so much abuse... So I decided to move onto an equally rabid fanbase, only much more recent in its development.

Obviously the perfect choice, do not question my methods.
But what's worse than a fanfic Crossover? WHAT'S WORSE THAN THAT, HAVE WE NOT DELVED DEEPLY ENOUGH?! No. No, we have not. We must dig more greedily and more deep. And through this, we find... The Three Way Fanfic Crossover.
Please, turn away while you still can, my shame is matched only by the burning in my soul to accomplish this task. It's incinerating my sinuses as though I had powdered up and snorted a couple of Ghost Peppers (which I'm pretty sure is lethal, don't do that).
I'll... ... ... I'll just say that there is no limit to the madness... The third source material will be withheld... ... ... FOR NOW.

I enjoyed the original greatly, and I enjoyed the rewrite, if somewhat less so... but after this long period of predictable inactivity (it's a rewrite, of course it was going to die), after posting chapters out of order, on top of these plans to cross it over with other stuff I'm not really familiar with, I'm really not feeling motivated to continue keeping up with this story. I am extremely confused reading this. So first we had the original version of the story which was halted to rewrite said story which has since been in hiatus mode for years and now we are having an update of some kind. Help me see if I'm understanding this right. It's either...
1. A continuation of the rewritten story using the mentioned crossover materials (.....what??

2. A new story that either ties into or acts as a side story of TTEOAP by using said crossover materials (..again...what?

Welp, that's another story no longer rotting on my "read later" list.
Thanks for writing that scene where Firewall is chased around by the CMC. I still look back on it as one of the most heartwarming moments in all the fanfictions I've ever read, all without the writing trying to mash my face into a barrel of "FEELS". Thank you for writing a story that, at times, was able to have a natural flow and be humorous, endearing, and intense (sometimes all three at once). I'm disappointed that it has come to this.
Next time, I'd suggest you cross it over with something worthwhile, if anything at all.
I'm...confused. Is this a continuation of the original story, or a side story "what if" that is not canon to the original? Because, I gotta say...a canon shifting to a crossover under tale story is going to be a sucker punch akin to Star Wars Episodes 1-3.
Going the "Wanderings of a non-brony" side story route and have parallel universe that's not canon I can handle. Don't necessarily like it, but I can deal with it. Making it act 2 of your series...I'm not gonna lie, I fear I may end up disowning it and pretending it never got finished past A Few Good Mares.

Listen, mate, you read whatever you want to read. That's your baby and your time that you're spending. It's cool.
But if you drop the fic based on Undertale, then you've missed two points...
First is that Undertale is a fresh take on good writing and video games altogether. It's no second coming to Christ, but damn, giving Undertale grief for its quality is like calling up Abraham Lincoln and telling him that he didn't quite do a good enough job.
Second is that the ENTIRE point of this fiction is to take as much bad material as I can find and manage to turn it into something worthwhile. Ergo, this should thrill you EVEN. FURTHER.

If you're looking for "bad material", then I guess you've struck gold. There's not a single thing about Undertale that's original or interesting.
Ohey, it mashed a JRPG together with some projectile dodging. Big whoop. The "mercy system" and talking to the enemies is nothing new (games over 10 years ago let you win without killing anyone, Shin Megami Tensei lets you do the talking and stuff, etc.) The story is artsy-fartsy, and the graphics are 8bit vomit because indie devs are lazy.
Abe Lincoln, in his famous Emancipation Proclamation, very conveniently neglected to include states that owned slaves, but had not seceded from the Union, thus making sure they wouldn't turn against him.
But I guess for the times, he did do a good job. For its own time, Undertale is over 30 years behind in the history of video games. It's like if I made a recolored clone of Mario today, and people claimed that I "set the bar" for all platformers.
Eh. It was a nice world we lived in. I guess all good things have to come to an end.

I apologize for the harshness of my comments. I'm all for having nice things, but the way I see it, MLP is nice, Undertale is not. Mashing the two together desecrates the former in my eyes.
