Update: Monsters, Villagers, and Smashing Brothers · 1:10am Jan 5th, 2016
Well, I really wasn't expecting much from my employment, but as far as my first job went, it was frankly kind of astonishing. I made just over $900 total in terms of wages, and that was in the month of December alone. However, I was told on Christmas Eve that my temporary period had ended, and that I could potentially be employed once the new year came around. At least, that's what I think my supervisor told me.
Thinking in retrospect, I made only a few mistakes during my stint of employment. My co-workers were people I got along with perfectly, and while I did have a couple of existential crises while working, I finished each day with strength and satisfaction.
Of course, this had the side effect of pushing me away from my hobbies. I've not been nearly as productive as I'd like, and this is not helped by the fact that I got a New Nintendo 3DS with my first paycheck and started playing Monster Hunter 4U, Super Smash Bros, and Animal Crossing, as well as Shovel Knight. But, I've been enjoying myself either way, and I can hope to at least write a few more chapters with the new year.
If you'd like my Friend Code, it's 1607-5596-2599. That way you can keep up to date on what games I've been playing and potentially play with and against me. Just don't make bets with me to get chapters out faster. Feel free to share yours if you want to get in on the fun.
The Hand in Hoof update's coming along at about 9000 words. As far as I can figure out, my major problem is one of conveyance, procrastination, and a difficulty figuring out an ending.
