I'm thankful for a lot of things. Here are a few of them.
I'm thankful for Fimfic, for giving me something to believe in, a silly shred of self-worth that goes a long way.
I'm thankful for the fandom for giving me lurvely marsupials to connect with.
I'm thankful for Pilate, his intelligence, his compassion, his steadfastness and fecking zebra-ness.
I'm thankful for Props, his sexy mustache, his boundless human charisma and empathy.
I'm thankful for Ponky, his lurve for life, his creative genius and unsinkable faith and enthusiasm for what's good in this world.
I'm thankful for Mir, a whole 'nother person outside the Internet, who somehow thought that this lemur was worthy enough to be the best man at his wedding.
I'm thankful for Jake the Army Guy, his hard edged awesomeness, his support and confidence.
I'm thankful for Swan Song, his fanboyisms, shipping fuel, and mwapmwapmwapmwap.
I'm thankful for Robored and the picture spams that have slowly pushed me down the road of Sunsetsparkles!addiction.
I'm thankful for Wanderer D and his wisdom and camaraderie over the years.
I'm thankful for CaptainPudgeMuffin and arts and butts.
I'm thankful for Floydien Slip, Sharp Quill, Lightning Bearer, Piercing Sight, Prismic, Titanium Dragon, and all the other marsupials whose comments and written words have done lots to enliven the literature I've slathered onto this digispace.
I'm thankful for the Noble Jury... for existing and giving me a sense of community, belonging, identity, and worth.
I'm thankful for Austraeoh Fact Checker... whoever you may be.
I'm thankful for Applejack for being best pony.
I'm thankful for Rainbow Dash for being the whipping horse of all my stories.
I'm thankful for Lyra for getting me somewhere.
I'm thankful for Vinyl for getting me away from somewhere.
I'm thankful for Youtube for giving me a way to preserve my sanity.
I'm thankful for my boss at work... the absolute best manager to work for in the absolute worst company that exists.
I'm thankful for Walt Disney World being a spit's distance from the lemur hole so I don't have to scream into my own skull once a month.
And I'm thankful for all of you who've taken the time out of your lives to indulge in my horse words. I know they aren't very snazzy or all that good, but I'm pleased to think that I've not only shared my creative thoughts but have done so in a way that continues to be entertaining and worthwhile. You are... collectively... the apex of my existence thus far.

If I may speak for the more casual posters and the silent lurkers... thank you SO much for your ceaseless determination to provide content for us all. You've invoked interest and emotion in thousands of people, and all humility aside, there's a reason you have as many followers as you do. You've got a lot of admirers, and you ought to be proud of something like that.

This is as tail end of the day as it gets, But I'm thankful for this fandom for giving me something to enjoy instead of merely tolerate, thankful for Skirts for putting words in front of me. (A LOT of words.) And I'm Thankful for the friends I was able to spend today with.

I'm thankful that I don't have to partake in a holiday where we're forced to share our embarassing personal feelings on the anniversary of the day we butchered a load of random native people and forced them off their lands to die in the wastelands that make up most of America, all the while celebrating the event by humanising the animal that we're killing and eating for the traditional meal. But then again, Britain doesn't have any holidays, so I'm still somewhat envious. However, it's customary to dislike anything you colonialists do that we don't. Learn to work all year, you gun-toting tossers! And to queue, and speak English, et cetera.
Of course, I read Utaan yesterday like every other day of the year, so I concede that you probably work a lot more than I do regardless. So... thanks, Colon old boy. You're a veritable geyser of kaizo horse words, and you write far more and far better horse words than you have any right to do. Good on you.

I agree, the concept of using Skype for permanent chatrooms still mystifies me. IRC has been used for decades and does the job much better, dagnabbit!
