I said in one or two Blog posts ago that I don't like to do these as I know some people can get irritated. But as the Closing Ceremony for the London 2012 Olympic games has started and I only noticed by chance by somebody else's conversation at work, I wanted to make sure nobody who wanted to see it missed it by mistake.
Well done to USA with their Medal Count, and China with theirs, I'm happy with Third for GB, but it's a shame we couldn't win more in our Home Games. Still very Proud, however.

Definitely, the last Olympics we held though we ended top of the tree haha but the sport back then was rather poor, and there was probably around 20 countries in it. Good party so far though.

It's all about competing really, I have massive respect for all the athletes, regardless on whether or not they've won medals, it has to have been bloody difficult to get in their positions. At least you won 4 medals, some countries didn't get any.

Well let's hope it continues to grow. I don't really like sports but I've really enjoyed the Olympics, I suppose I'm just old enough now to appreciate it, or it may just be because it's in London. I also really love our Olympic Flame, it's quite awe inspiring.
