Well, OK, I set out to write story with the title "Bad Gateway", as an ironic salute to the issues that FIMFiction has struggled with lately.
But, the more I write this story (about a pony struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder), the less I want to use a "joke" title.
I just wrote, without irony or intention, "Today I am a monster." And now I think that should be my title. (Never thought to write anything approaching Grimdark or even Sad, but there it is.)
Maybe I'll write a light-hearted entitled "Bad Gateway" (which is a good title, IMHO). But this story I'm into now isn't it.
This is more personal and internal story than anything I've attempted before. I imagine most ponies won't like it. But I can't stop until I get it out.
