There are plenty of pairings that I want to do but simply can't because there would be no reason for them; the only reason I haven't done a Gaben/Twilight Sparkle clopfic named Twilight Sparkle and Gabe Newell Develop Software nor finished the Yewlestia romance fic I've started on - besides the fact that I am likely to be incarcerated indefinitely for it - is that I simply cannot justify to myself any way by which they would meet and I dislike starting in medias res.

Any suggestions that might fix this?
