NEW COVER ART FOR THE GREAT SLAVE KING · 1:17am Sep 5th, 2015
Gentlereader PoisonSt, has created another cover art for me. It depicts the Slave King's terrible vengeance and triumph over his former masters of the Diamond Vale. Accompanied by his ever faithful companion and steadfast servant, the ever present terror in the shadows, Nightmare, the first creation, stands at the ready to slay her master's unworthy foes. Together, they've cut a swath of bloody destruction to Lord Darkpaw's throne room to claim the Slave King's place as the new rightful Lord of Earth.
As always, the artist has requested feedback, so any feedback you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Additionally, I am still working on the next chapter of the The Book of Water, The Heart of Winter. So hopefully, gentlereader, you'll consdier this new art a taste of whats to come.
Until next time!
Congratulations on the new cover art. I hope to see the next chapter soon because this is getting good.
Oooooh, very nice. 10/10
I really like the art. The design of it is good as showing the Slave King as a being of power. I'm split on how Nightmare is depicted though, its nice to see how someone would view Nightmare, but i always thought of it as more of a monster. The Diamond dog reaching for the sword on the ground was a very nice touch. All in all a great art.
3370640 well the author stated very clearly that nightmare looked like a panther, so yeah
3373031 Did he? Its been forever since i read the first one, so i forgot how Nightmare was described.
3373098 Well at least he said so personally to me. I for example had thought that nightmare was bipedal until he said otherwise
