No Clueless Reader this week. Cuz I suck.

In fact, not much of anything this week. Mostly cuz I haven't got much to ramble on about.

There is the 100th Story Vote, of course. So far, it's going swimmingly, and I'm kinda surprised by a few twists and turns. I'm gonna leave it up for a little while longer, like a day or two, just to tally everything appropriately. I like what the marsupials' comments have been on the selection. Do know that I do intend to tackle all four stories... eventually. This strawpoll thingy is just to determine which of the four will be the first to be posted, and also the 100th SS&E fic. So, once again, if you haven't voted, head on over and do so here: http://strawpoll.me/5335867.

I'm quite intrigued by how neck-and-neck it is... relatively speaking.

About my dailies... y'know... the sucky one, the extra sucky one, and this bastard...

There is the ever so slightest chance that we might experience a momentary delay in their upload over the next three or four days. Not due to personal negligence, mind you. Just... other reasons.

And that brings up something I've been meaning to address as of late.

Please know that I am very, very much committed to Austraeoh and Appledashery. Oddly enough, I feel a bit conflicted about The Things Tavi Says, but it's super easy to "write" and almost EVERYONE seems to friggin' love the story, so I guess that's going to keep coming up strong as well.

So, yeah, while I might suck at doing the whole "Clueless Reader" smex, understand that I am hell-bent on writing my dailies into completion. They are simply things that I will never abandon--so long as it is within my power to do so.

The reason why I'm being so emphatic about this is because... well... let's think a bit realistically here.

Take Austraeoh, a story that--in theory--will take an entire six years to finish. That's a very difficult task to accomplish, day by day, without fail. I'm not trying to boast, really. After all, the story has sucked quite often, and it's always been an exercise of quantity over quality. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that it's kind of a crazy ass miracle that I've been able to do this thing for three years, much less six. Who's to know what half a decade could mean for me, the fandom, and the universe at large?

Long story short, I just want y'all marsupials to know that the only reason... the only reason why Austraeoh or Appledashery would cease to continue is due to any supremely huge and unforeseen consequences in the lemur's existence. I'm talking about shiet like a death in the family, a cataclysmic life change, complete loss of digital resources, a natural disaster, or... y'know... being hurled out of the mortal coil entirely.

I'm really not trying to sound grim. I just have this silly, geekish fear that someday something stupid will happen to me and the fics will stop updating and then every marsupial will suddenly think that I've abandoned my craft. Please understand that such will never be the case. I'm quite dedicated to these stories, and there's not much in my life that I'm legitimately committed to. If ever something happens where I am not physically (or metaphysically) capable of continuing the fics, I would do my best to alert the marsupial alumni, or else attempt to keep them abreast of the situation at large.

So, in the meantime, enjoy the daily bread crumb bits of wordsmithery. I know they aren't the best, and the stories that they're attached to are significantly plebeian, but I like to think that they're at least entertaining, and I do get extreme satisfaction out of providing them, which I suppose is the whole point, dreit?

Stay princessy, my friends.

If you need to delay your stories for any reason, I understand. I've been following and loving your Vinyl Scratch and Octavia story, and I'm highly impressed with how much you're able to write in a given amount of time. It's quite the skill you have. I'm willing to wait if you need to pause for any reasons.

Anyway, I hope you're able to find somewhere safe to be at regarding the storm you mentioned, and I wish you all the best.

If you ever feel the need to stop updating , that would give me the chance to finally catch up with Appledashery.
Oh, and Ynan.
And finally start TTS.
...
I should just read and shut up.

Yeah, I get those silly kind of worries too on occasion. But then I remember the wisdom of a little song and suddenly everything seems all right.

Stay safe, ya dork. Don't want to be attacked by a random gorilla. I mean, who else will provoke my phobias unsolicited?

If you die before finishing I'm afraid we'll just have to kill ya. No offense.

wait, did that happen? scoots tripped on a fish? Wow. i need to pay more attention

Where is that Scootaloo shot from?

If you die I call dibs on your login and pass.

I'm certainly entertained by them.

I know of so many stories that I enjoyed, albeit shorty, that had great concepts, that people just gave up on. That's why you're the best SS&E. Keep doing you.

I completely understand this point of view: I share it. (if I didn't, I'd have read way more of your writings :raritywink: you of all ponies would understand what it asks of a person!)

Carry on. The only thing more worthwhile than writing stories and more stories, is helping other writers to write THEIR stories

Stay safe and plz don't die, LemurLord.

Try and take it easy, but with exersize. Even walking. Ah, here we go, latest psychological research shows that for creativity, dance or stroll. And dont forget to take enough cash to cover the busfare back home when you look up and realise you have no idea where you got where you are, but you have had a brilliant idea, if only you could remember what it was. :pinkiecrazy:

Stay safe, darlin'.

If the Most Unfortunate Downfall does occur, I will attempt to popularize a mystical legend where you found Equestria, gave us all the finger, and now bathe in a sea of AppleDashery while writing your fics for ponies and discussing philosophy with Nietsche and the Smooze.

I prefer majesty to princessy.

Sleepless in Ponyville of course. How long has it been since you watched best season 3 episode?

Oh my, Trixie's dominating the poll now. That's the only one I wasn't interested in! ...Oh well, like he said, they'll all be uploaded in time, and often times, it's not the stories I expect to fall in love with, but the ones that jump out and grab me by the crotch.

Momentai! That means take it easy for the 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999% of you who don't care about Digimon.

3355799 I never watched that episode.

Dude, Skirts. Take care of yourself first. We come a far, far, far farfarfarfar distant... what would you say, nineteenth? You have bigger priorities. We can wait.
