Two New Story Ideas · 2:49am Aug 27th, 2015
I seem to be getting a lot of these lately... but I don't want to fall into the trap of starting many but never finishing them like I did on my FF.Net account. Anywho, I had an idea for two new stories. As usual, may or may not actually pen them. Still working on Chapter 13 of Worlds, I'm about 6k words into a 10k word chapter. I expect it, and you should also expect it, to be done soon...
SO! New story ideas. Got two of them. One of them along the lines of my usual works. Human version of Equestria (not the EqG orld, but as if Equestria was always populated by humans). Twilight Sparkle protagonist, bit of romance as well, very magic and action oriented. No working title, just an idea.
Human!Twilight is being stalked by a being known as a Nightwalker, a group of beings whose motivations are highly questionable, since Nightwalkers have been glimpsed very sparingly over the 10,000 years since Princess Celestia was slain and Princess Luna vanished (yes, 10,000, not 1,000, and yes, Celestia was slain). Spoiler, the Nightwalker is seeking the imminent return of his master, and Twilight has something to do with that. With that thought in mind, you probably already know where this story idea is going.
Second story, a bit of a re-telling of a story I'm sure some of you are familiar with. Much different from my usual style, this one will be much more tragic in the end. Again, a human story. Princess Luna is sailing back to Equestria after a meeting overseas with the Griffin Empire. During her voyage, her ship is wrecked in a storm, and she washes up on the shores of an island. The only way off of the island is to wake a being known as the Wind Drake Hiryuu, who is said to slumber in an egg atop a mountain set further into the island, but to do that, Luna must gather the 8 Siren Instruments from their resting places around the island.
And if you've ever played the game Link's Awakening, you know the way this story is gonna end.
What separates these story ideas from the others I've had is I already have a clear plot idea in my head, and know where to go with it. But again, time will tell if I ever set finger to key to pen these stories. Just a fun thought, though. What do you guys think of these?
