I Don't Always Read the Comics but, When I Do, They Feature Twilight and Spike

Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby,

First, let me start off by saying how much I've appreciated the support and compassion of so many people during my long, long recovery. I'm most grateful, and it has been a bright spot for me as my long weeks of isolation here in my home have slowly gone by.

Summer Ends: The Finale of Gravity Falls

Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby,

Every once in a while I get to stand an applaud as the credits roll to a television show. Futile, of course, as I'm the only one there to hear it, but I do it because it deserves to be applauded.

This evening was one of those nights.

    New Comic: "Away"

Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby:

Stainless Key and I have just finished a new collaboration—which is to say that she finished making the vision that we shared come to pass. This time, it was Key's turn to come up with the concept... and boy, was it a Duesy!

Voice Actors Needed for Reading of "The Youth in the Garden" · 4:25am Jul 29th, 2015

Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby:

A user named Jim Davis (not the creator of Garfield... I think) has approached me with a kind offer to turn my sole Human-In-Equestria work into a live audio play! I've also managed to interest a noted artist in the fandom, Stainless Key, in on this so I really, really look forward to seeing what happens with the project.

We are in need of voice actors, so if you have any talent at being Fluttershy, Dash, Twilight, or Spike—or in being a Civil War Soldier, an Colonel, a Lieutenant, or in speaking in nineteenth century dialects—contact Jim at the link above. Thanks!

Stay Awesome,

Would Mr. Davis, or his production company, be interested in signing a supplemental agreement with SAG-AFTRA?

Whelp, I sent a PM to the fella. Now I play the waiting game.

#somebody remembers one of my stories!

I couldn't help but laugh a little when I saw that tag.

Of course people remember your stories. (The ones they've read, anyway. :twilightsheepish:)

While this does sound very interesting, I doubt I'd be able to even apply for lack of specified equipment needed for the actual... what's the word... performance you mentioned above.

3278556 I have to agree :rainbowlaugh:

Dammit! I'd love to try, but that's not possible! :rainbowlaugh:

Tell me how the story or animation goes.:trollestia:
I am still laughing, me a voice actor, no. I have no talent at that, but I just feel like wishing Good luck for you:twilightsheepish:
You will get there:twilightsmile:

Iäll trz for you, Descy.

Verdemmte deutsche Tastatur...

Bllaaaargh. I always wanted to try voice acting, but I'm away from my rig for a while. What's the timeframe on trying out?

3278535
I can't honestly say, but if you ask him he might be interested. Remind me what that is again?

3278556
Heh! It's been almost a year since I released a story... I'm starting to forget what they were about, so I'm surprised that others recall them!:twilightsheepish:

3278595
Maybe sometime in the future?

3278798
Perhaps another time. Thanks for your interest, though.

3278900
Thanks for the well-wishes.

3278922
Thanks, Kal. You know I've always appreciated your support.

3279102
I can't honestly say... you'd have to ask Jim. I think that he'll be okay with waiting for a little while, but don't quote me on that.

umm I am a good fluttershy

3279286 Possible. Though, without money for the correct equipment might be a hinderence whenever it might be needed.

I'm not particularly good at mares, but I can do stallion voice acting (not poorly) plus I might be getting a new microphone soon. If not, I already have a pretty descent microphone ready with a setup for a reading. Do I can make readings already. However, if it's an animation, it won't be that useful. Either way, I'm still pretty well prepared. However if some pony else managed to voice act better, that's okay with me. I'll just be understudy.

There aren't any stallions in the story in speaking roles, but if you want to try out for one of the human roles that would be great! Just contact Jim at the link above and he'll let you know what to do.

3279277 SAG-AFTRA organizes voice actors and audiobook readers, among other performer types, in the United States. Signing a supplemental agreement (there's an "official" term for it, but I forget what it is) basically amounts to signing on to the main industry-wide collective bargaining agreement after it's been finalized, usually with a few dispensations to account for a company's circumstances. The reason I ask is because unionized actors like me aren't allowed to work on profit-making projects - and this sounds like just such a project - unless the producer signs onto the contract. At the same time, the contract usually isn't flexible enough to allow a company that signs on to hire non-union labor.

I kinda sound like DJ Pon3. :rainbowderp:

3279367
Oh, good! Please feel free to contact Jim at the contact link above.:twilightsheepish:

3279367
Sally, we still desperately need a Fluttershy. If you have any interest at all, please contact Jim using the link in the blog. I hope you'll consider it.

Oh rawr. I miss all of the things that I keep hoping will happen because they float by me while I'm looking at flowers across the road. I guess I don't get to be a part of this. Maybe this will at least give me the push I needed to finish a dramatic reading of Tangled Up In Blues.

3466405
Never say never! I bet that is you contact Jim right now he'd certainly still be able to find you a part. The actual "recording" hasn't even started yet!

I'm only (really) good at Applejack. :rainbowlaugh:

If that need ever arises, I'll let you know.:raritywink:
