I originally had this in the comments section, but I feel like that was not the appropriate place.
There have been some misinterpretations regarding the introductory blurb for Letters From Ponyville. I just want to clarify, so that there's absolutely no confusion: I really do love the stories that I mentioned in the description. It was written purely for entertainment purposes, and not at all as a shot at the authors or their work.
Kkat created an astounding legacy. Somber expanded that legacy to an incredible degree. Mysecsha revealed a fascinating take on the origins of Spitfire and Soarin'. And I'd saw my own arm off for even the most remote chance to say even two words to any of them.
Those two words would be "Thank you!". They've done amazing work, and I never meant any kind of offense to any of them.

I just figured you were trying to do an interesting and original with your introduction blurb to catch people's interests. It certainly worked for me, and I've read and enjoyed many stories with the things mentioned in your synopsis. But I guess I can see how some might misinterpret your intentions.

Some people have commented that my introduction was condescending to other works. I never meant it that way at all. I have nothing but respect and admiration for these authors, and for that matter, any author or artist in the fandom, well-known or not. I mean, this is the first thing I'VE ever submitted for goodness sake! Why the heck would I throw stones at anyone else?
