Well, I have a new story up, and this time it's a first attempt at comedy. A cheap attempt. Despite what you might think, I did NOT write this to attempt to cash in on the success of adult humor fics that FIM Fiction has experienced lately, thanks to Friendly Uncle. No, I've had this idea for a while, and only just wrote it.
Synopsis: Fluttershy gets more than she asked for when she visits the Library and hears moaning from behind the door. Concerned that Twilight may have developed a problem, Rarity and Rainbow Dash go and investigate.
Rated Teen, as nothing explicit is described in this fic. Written in third person omniscient, a new exercise for me. I like to think this story is more well written than other cheap humor fics. It is a "refined" cheap humor fic, if that's possible.

Selling out works.
There's a (relative) shortage of people writing these stories and glut of readers who want to read them. You're just giving people what they want (which is clop or something close to it). Sure some authors try harder and I commend them for it. Personally, I like reading higher quality fics (usually longer ones that really have room to develop their characters, plots, and devices), but that's just my preference and it doesn't make me any better than anyone else.
I just hope you enjoyed writing your "sell out" sorry. That's what's really important.
Entertaining people is just icing on the cake.
