I have never seen anything wrong with being attracted to something you find attractive. I think this post aimed at the wrong tack. As a pretty heavily anti-clop person, my objections don't really come from moral grounds. I mean, outside of ponies, I am into some very sick shit. My issue comes when so much of it is produced and it becomes more visible, giving the fandom a bad name and causing some people to assume that's what we're all about. I know the argument is made that people would assume that anyway, but I feel that's a tad presumptuous. In any case, more visible rule 34 content isn't helping us any.

Yeah, Magical Girl animes are a bit overplayed. But, Craig McCracken only made the Powerpuff Girls (look up Whoopass Stew on YouTube) to spite Sailor Moon's success. And without that, Lauren Faust wouldn't have cowritten the PPG Movie, probably wouldn't have done Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and may not have created My Little Pony. And that would be horrible.

Doing scientific research on subjects is not a waste of time. Too much time would be creating the Master of Puppets album, painting the Mona Lisa, writing the Lord of the Rings series, and various other things that don't have 'practical' applications in the real world.

On a serious note, my real only concern about clop is the possible follow-up. Like the fact that furries like clop, being into cartoon horses is the first step to finding non-human anatomy in general attractive. And once you find animals attractive, you may want to fuck animals. Which is illegal (in most states/countries).

I've found some images to be... interesting, but I keep it to humanized stuff. Pursuing human women is a healthy interest that leads to other benificial results (usually). Wanting to fuck a horse just ends with you in cuffs and an unhappy horse.
