I still dont use fimfic anymore but i thought this was funny lol

If you remember me then you remember https://www.fimfiction.net/user/65660/FlanChan too most likely. When Skype died from the burning cancer of irrelevancy I lost contact with her and didn't know how to find her... and then Twitter Dot Com randomly decided that it would recommend a cosplay of hers to me, so we got to talk again after like 4 years of not even knowing how to contact each other.

    PECK. NECK.

I spent 25 hours on A Hat in Time this past week and I don't regret it. Anyone who ever liked Mario Sunshine or any other Gamecube era platformer should pick this up on Steam/XBOX1/PS4. God this game was so good.

I went to go see Age of Ultron · 7:59pm May 9th, 2015

I was totally expecting Ultron to be some single minded borefest that thinks all life is worthless. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. Ultron actually made the movie, and I recommend it if you haven't seen it already.

Ultron is best psychotoc AI

zel

okay

Is it weird that I have the opposite opinion? Ultron was an absolute threat and a formidable menace, but I think he fell flat as a character. The expansion of his genocide quest wasn't really developed well past seeing just the Avengers as a threat, and while it fit his origin and creator, I don't think the Stark-brand quirkiness fit what ought to have been a more sinister and calculating figure.

It's the OTHERS that shined. Barton and his family. Romanoff and Banner talking about their outs. Hell, the Maximoff twins and the Vision (oh my GOD the Vision) had great personality, and the former especially had gripping motivation that helps tie the MCU's humble beginnings right into the narrative of Ultron.

Also, what happened to Pietro was criminal. Goddammit, Joss.

3057363 This was definitely a character movie, and since the last movie focused on the big guys, the smaller characters getting some action is awesome. Specifically Hawkeye.
Also Scarlet Witch and Vision fuck yes.
I believe Ultron is all up to tastes. If you're not into Stark, then you won't like him, but if you do, he's an absolute joy. In the end, factually, he had some points, even if he was death AI villain #10002, so I think he's an alright villain whether you enjoyed him or not.
Can I mention the music was amazing as well?

3057770 Yeah, he had points. And I'm not saying Ultron's demeanor as unfortunate as someone who doesn't like Tony Stark, because I LOVE Stark. But yeah, as a villain, he was hit-and-miss.

Actually, most of the Marvel villains were. All the ones that weren't Loki or Winter Soldier. You know, the ones that lived through their movies. I've noticed that trend happen all over the MCU: toss a villain our way, take them out of the picture before the credits roll. I'm 90% sure it's to give Thanos that much more weight as a threat, but it comes at the cost of everyone else's weight as threats.

3057793 Is it me or was the most hyped up character Vision? Because wow, when he came, it felt like a god was born, and I was just like "shit dont be bad please". Vision made the movie for me personally. He was so cool.

3057803 I ADORED the Vision. They did a smart thing, leaving him almost entirely out of all the trailers. Made that much more of an impact.

3057831 Guess you could say we didn't SEE that coming

3057849 Well, unless you saw any of the merchandi-
