When releasing a story, please do not: · 3:50am Apr 27th, 2015
1. Make your title have a word in parenthesis. Example: Twilight Sparkle is (Not) A Huge Ass Nerd.
2. Only release a 1500 word prologue and no Chapter 1.
3. Make the description long as hell.
4. Forget to give it a cover art.
5. Do any or all of these things and complain that your story didn't get attention.
I can agree with all of those except number one, but only if it specifically a Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover. That is the only exception.
What if you can't find something to use as cover art though?
I primarily agree with all but 4 .I'll say that not all stories need to use a cover, though it does help a lot. If you mean outright forgetting to put a cover with the story and not as an intentional thing, that is a different story(no pun intended).
3020979 Not all, but most. The ones that are very poetic and well thought out don't need it, but this fandom needs its cover art, man.
3020971 If you can't find anything directly, make it some kind of symbol or something easy. There's always a cover art.
3020608 Seeing as how that fandom is dying and that anime is controversial, I don't really think you'd get much attention doing a story on that in the first place.
