Alright! Ponyville Live finally uploaded the panel I did at BABScon with PRlNCESS CADENCE! It's a bit long (about an hour), but if you'd give it a watch, I'd be super grateful! I think it turned out really well (despite my fidgeting and overuse of the word "like"), and I hope you guys enjoy it.
I know it says "how to make a story original" but I think "interesting" fits the description better

A few comments on the panel
The tsunami of story ideas you got was something but seriously you should have thought of something else to do besides doing an open forum of story ideas.
But that wasn't so bad on itself. I had more fun listening to the ideas of others than mentioning the ones I came up with during the panel.
Is just that the panel kept loosing people after you went on an on with that (Princes Cadance was the one that mostly drove that tho.)But despite how long it lasted two or three dozens of people seem to have stay to the very end and that is saying something.
Pen Stroke left the con shortly before your panel but BronyWriter was there to the very end surprise you didn't mention it.
Also I had a big issue with your definition of originality as I find it to be incomplete but I decided not to say anything out of respect and again because I have more fun listening.
All and all good for you. If you get to be in a panel next year you might wan't to make sure it's a little more structured to give a more professional impression kind of like Solrac; but he has presented a bunch of panels already so his skill is just the fruit of practice.

This was only my second panel, and there was a major issue of communication between Cadence and I, but I assure you tat my next panel will be much better prepared.

Although I like to remind you that unless you actually manage to contribute in some way to canon MLP like Black Gryphon or the Badges are at some point are categorized differently than this year, you won't actually get a legit Guest of Honor badge.

I actually think the biggest tip for someone who wants to become a writer is, aside from practicing their craft, reading. Read, read, read. Doesn't matter if it's pulp fiction or 19th century classics, it helps to read the fruits of other writers' labors. By doing this you'll know what the rules are, so that you can break them.
I'm going to write a meta fic where I ship everypony with Regidar! There's my "never seen before plot."
So that's what the fabled Regidar sounds like.
