Everfree NW Writing Contest and Past Sins Related News · 7:37pm Mar 16th, 2015
It's getting to be that time of year again. The convention circuits are starting up for spring and summer and with Season 5 on the horizion, the hype is real.
Among the summer conventions, I'd like to bring some attention to Everfree NW. Like I have for the past several years, I'll be attending this convention as well as helping with several of the pre-convention festivities. In fact, the thing I want to highlight in particular is Everfree NW's Pre-Convention writing contest. The deadline for it is just next week, so I hope you've been working on your stories if you were intending to send in a submission.

Now, to get to the second topic of this blog, some Past Sins related news. First, I want to give a plug to someone who wrote a lovely song based on Past Sins. The YouTube of the music is at the bottom of this blog, and congratulation to the musician for already getting featured on EQD.
Beyond that, I'd suggest marking your calendars for the 26th of this month. There might be something coming out then. 
New Nyx Story! I am excited.
I'm so excited that I think I actually squeed.
First, new Redvs.Blue coming out on the first of April, then I have off from work that Friday. Then season five starts, followed the next day by Easter. And, before all that, a new Past Sins story is going up.

I'm tempted to come to Everfree NW to see if I could get you to sign my copy of Past Sins but the $60 entry fee hurts cause I'm pretty broke at the moment and its a bit of a drive

At first I was gonna ask if you had plans to submit anything to the EFNW contest, but then I remembered you're judging the thing. Silly me.
Secondly, if the thing coming the 26th is related to Past Sins, will you post another blog post to let us non-followers know when it's out? (unless you're gonna post it as a sequel, of course)

LOL! Yeah, funny I had the exact same thought regarding the idea that perhaps this could be a story finally featuring Nyx as an adult.
We side-story writers will always get decanonized eventually if the original author stays active. Can't count that as a bad thing though!!

We might do a panel, but loosing two months between cons really hurt our planning for everything as did getting our ducks in a row to ramp up our other online presence such as our weekly fic recommendation and review.
They are the main attraction. Their story must be told. Time for a chain reaction, that never gets old. Some folk get satisfaction, breaking the mold. Some folk are just distractions, and some are just gold.
