Because I just got demoted at work.
Isn't it fun when people tell you that you can't keep your job because you lack confidence in yourself while they go out of their way to undermine any attempt to build yourself up and feel more sure about the work you're doing? Or how they're doing what's best for you by sending you back to the job that made your screwed-up brain even worse and you spent every waking moment trying to escape from?

Long story short, sorry to be a waste of space. See you when I actually accomplish something. I'll be busy binging on Fletcher Hanks comics to make myself feel better.

Don't take it too badly. Just remember one thing. Any job you have is never permanent. Yes it is wise to do research, look carefully, determine possibilities and so on before making an exit, but no one can hold you to a job you don't like.
