By my standards, I've written some pretty popular pony fics (compared to my usual view counts), but what happened last night was nuts. To me, at least.
Before going to bed at 2AM last night, I updated Letters with Part 13.
When I woke up at noon, the hit counter had increased by 3800.
I haven't seen that since A Precious Rainbow made it on EqD.

Yes I stay up till 4 maybe 5 if I'm in a groove. So yeah I'm a late nighter. Doesnt bother me though I have trouble sleeping anyway.

Same here. Usually I sleep in for most of the day, then wake up at night.
This is unfortunate for me, considering the blogs I roleplay with are usually daytimers.
I don't consider myself a late-nighter, more of an early riser.

If it wasn't for this day shift job, I'd be up until five. As is, I try to get to bed at midnight.

Fans in other timezones, perhaps? By my perspective, sites like Wowinsider start updating at oh-god-hundred in the morning, and stop putting up new stories at about 10am.
