I can't promise to be a frequent or heavy contributor anymore, but I sure love this community and hope to find a place for it in my life.
I'm waiting to get back into fanfiction until I've caught up with the show. So far I'm in the early episodes of Season 4, but it's going to take me quite a while to get caught up. Lots to do after two years.
Feel free to PM me, write whatever you want in the comments below, and just be generally happy and wonderful. It's good to be back, and I've learned more than I'd ever imagined.
Looks like Skirts already made a Pre-Ponkology 201 blargh, but just so you know that is in the works. Load up the questions down below or in a PM or whatever else. I'll figure out the best way to respond and get you all ponked up... whatever that means.
Also give me some suggestions for stories, movies, songs, and whatever else pops into your cute little heads that I should add to my "catch up" list. Remember that I've been essentially gone from modern society and media for two years, so you can't really go overboard.

There have been quite a bit of hero movies from marvel and dc in case you like those. If you ever watched The last airbender there is a sequel to that. The hobbit has been made into a movie trilogie
Can't really find anything of the top of my head without knowing what stuff you like and also not the most knowledgeable about music and stories.

What do you think of "Daring Don't" making Daring Do real in the world of MLP? I think "The Sisters Do" was the first story I read with that concept. And now it's like a tiny bit canon!

You're back! Wow have you got a lot to catch up on. Can't wait to actually get to know you once you've got some time to spare.

In addition to the MLP comics and Season 4, you should check out G.M. Berrow...not for her mane six novelettes (she has a bad habit of cramming in the mane six and forgetting Spike exists), but for her Daring Do trilogy. No framing device, just straight-up Daring Do stories. Unfortunately, they come in a rather expensive box set and can't be purchased individually.
Also, not sure how you feel about Katy Perry, but all the other talent behind the Super Bowl Halftime Show this year was pretty spectacular, I think. You may also enjoy looking up the details of the bet Chris Pratt and Chris Evans placed on the Seahawks and Patriots.
Oh, and there's gonna be a new Star Wars movie. Was that news two years ago? Well, they've completed filming now.

I wouldn't even know where to begin recommending stuff to you. One thing that comes to mind is the official comics. They're a lot of fun. Also, you might have been here for some of the early videos, but Flufflepuff is hilarious. I'll leave it at that, I guess.
Hmmm. Well, new music is always nifty. As are stories. I'd be interested to see what new stories you'd produce, now that you have a whole new reservoir of experiences to draw from. One thing I've been wondering, even as you were gone: Will you be continuing "Mantles", or has the time for that passed? I've wanted to read it, but I've kept putting it off, just because I didn't want to risk getting into a story that had no future.

Feels good to have you back, mate. You missed out quite a bit over the past 2 years. Knighty has made big changes to the site, including the new Bookshelves are basically what they are. We can categorize our Favorites to custom Bookshelves that we can make. There's also a new Default bookshelf called Tracking, which is different from the Read Later as it's for fics you're currently focusing on reading.
Uhh some highly followed authors were banned for breaking some rules.
Some huge groups gotten hit hugely.
Notification system got changed (New group threads now appear in the Feed)
And there's an Equestria Girls 2 called Rainbow Rocks, which is way better than the first movie. Flash Sentry still there tho.
