Aw, Princess Celestia drowning in the tub of frozen custard makes me sad.
Don't worry. The drive and inspiration will come back. The muse is a fickle mistress and needs its time to relax. There will be a time for ponies later.
Till then, I'm now craving some french vanilla for some reason...
I've been in that kind of position too many times myself, Vargras. I'm sure it's been said to you multiple times, but sometimes you just have to sit yourself down, keep away from anything that will distract you, and just write. I've had to do this with a independent writing class, and let me tell you, inspiration comes only when it feels like. Sometimes you just have to force all the cylinders to go on their own in order to get the engine going.
That, or just give yourself a break. I've done that before, and found myself refreshed and ready to write afterwards. Going for a walk can help, even.
Hope you can get past this writer's block. Just don't let it defeat you! Make that writer's block know who's boss!

Celestia is one of the few beings capable of such profound sadness she can actually feel BETTER by eating her own hair.
Also, I know that feel.
I know that feeling all too well...

That pic makes me so sad. :(
I'm in the same boat. I have an idea for a one shot, finally, but I can't bring myself to care.
After all this time, I am still utterly fascinated by the ability of pones to grab things with their hooves. Cutey cute! Oh mah gawd!
But yeah, uh, hang in there male sibling. The time for glorious pone words will come back to you.
That's so gods damn adorable.
And......no I'm sorry it doesn't make me sad. It makes me want to cuddle the hell out of her, but not...sad.

Does it make me a bad poni, that the first thing I noticed was the technicolor sherbert? I giggled at that.
Then I saw Tia was sad poni. And that made me sad poni.

Muses are finicky bitches at best. Or highly sporadic and nonsensical. It's like they do it on purpose for you to hate them (they totally do).
