Okay, I didn't think so many people were going to want to do this thing, or more importantly that they'd expect some kind of order to it.
My bad.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the myriad ways in which people are contacting me (this blog post, comments on the story, PMs, etc.) there is no comprehensive list of who's doing what pony/creature/whatever. I have no problem with there being multiple chapters with the same pony. This is supposed to be fun for everyone, not something I rule with an iron hoof.
Rules are pretty simple.
1: You've got to have a title involving a bed. For examples, see Estee's original blog post
2: It has to have a character from Equestria appearing unexpectedly (note, said character does not have to be a pony)
3: A bed has to be involved in the plot.
3a: The title should ideally take the form of X is verb your bed (verbing Y), but this isn't an absolute dealbreaker.
4: You have to keep to the teen rating and other site rules. Although if I can figure out a way to slip in Knighty Redecorated your Bed and Now Everyone's Complaining (not my idea, but it's brilliant) without getting banned . . .
5: Ideally, ponies should appear on Monday nights (because that's practically Tuesday morning, and Tuesday is when bad stuff happens in Equestria). This isn't a requirement, just a helpful hint.
6: NEW AND IMPROVED RULE SIX Let's try to avoid the overly meta/random/fourth-wall-breaking stuff, mmkay? If that's your thing, I won't outright reject it, but I might wait to publish until we've got a few more chapters with more normal stuff, and you might have a looooooooong wait. There are a lot of unused background ponies that can mess up our protagonist's stuff in perfectly mundane ways. What happened to the amusing innocence of Twilight stealing his porn, Sonata destroying his bathroom, and Rose puking on his floor?
Ideally, a majority of the stories will involve the same second-person protagonist who was introduced in the prologue; however THAT IS NOT MANDATORY. If you don't want to write second-person, or your story will only be funny if it's set in a very specific location, that's okay! Try to add in a transitional paragraph at the beginning to make the reader aware it's somewhere else; if not, I'll add in a single line like I did at the beginning of Estee's story.
Once the story is written, send me a link to it. Ideally, it'll be in gDoc format, but some people just don't like it. Sigh. Don't expect me to proofread. Please, please don't send me something totally unedited.
Going forward, I'll probably only post one or two chapters a day, especially if I get deluged with fics in the next couple of days.
As far as I know, anyone who suggested a title in Estee's blog post would be okay with it being used, so long as they aren't doing it themselves -- but don't be a jerk, ask.
Finally, I don't object to the same pony being used twice, but I'd prefer the same specific concept isn't. So if you've gotta write a Vinyl or a Chrysalis piece, that's great, but a changeling disguised as a bed or a pyromaniac in the bed are right out.
EDIT: To preserve your sanity, you may want to avoid making too many references to previously published chapters. I'm just gonna publish these in whatever order I want to.
SECOND EDIT: This thing is already spiraling completely out of control. I have no idea what half of y'all are writing, and I love it.
THIRD EDIT: Please, no more Cutie Mark Crusaders getting a bed-related cutie mark. Other subjects are fine.
FORTH EDIT: Once again, no more wacky random stuff. That theme has been beaten to death, revived, and beaten to death again.

Either would be fine. I'm not opposed to multiple chapters about the same pony, so long as the plot hook isn't mostly identical, unless that serves as the foundation of a running joke.

Nobody's done it 'cause it's a clear violation of the 'no meta' rule.
It's still a tempting idea, though.
Possibly, the rule could be skirted by writing it as a blog post story, rather than an actual story, and putting a link to it in the author's notes for a chapter. I think that would be legit. Vaguely legit, at least.
If you want to risk a ban, go for it.
