[Researcher Twilight] Update + Curse You December! · 2:24am Dec 31st, 2014
First off, Curse you December!
You and your Holiday shopping and forced relative interactions have all but destroyed my productivity and distracted my editing team all month!
Okay, with that out of the way, I do have some good news. I manged to force myself to sit down and write out the remainder of the next chapter of Researcher Twilight, Exodus II. So I'll be giving it a once over before throwing it to my team later tonight.
The chapters not as long as I'd like it to be, but I have to keep reminding myself, "This is not slice of life, Azu, not all the little details matter as much as the major plot points and plot progression does." So I am continuously pulled out of my "slice of lifey comfort zone," but I think I am starting to get the hang of this. Though I must admit, action is friggin hard to write! How do those crazy action writers make this stuff look so easy!?
Anyways, the next chapter of ReTwi shouldn't be too far off now. And in case you hadn't guessed by my complaining, shit may or may not have started to hit the fan for the duke boys.
You are doing fine. Looking forward to the next installment.

This may or may not be my fault, actually. As one of the editors (I think) for Colors, I've been holding up the process a little bit with my 12 hour workdays and whatnot.
Yes, December sucks. I've made it my New Year's resolution to try and write at least a thousand words a day, and it's been off to a very rocky start. Friends and family I never see except for this season all showing up and wanting to hang out, plus December is the busiest season of the year at my new job, so I keep getting called in to work double shifts.
But I guess it all boils down to opportunity costs.
Now finish the next chapter of Colors!

What would make an Azu blog complete? Me nagging you, Azu, of course~ I am greatly looking forward to those next chapters, even if I have to reread the entire story now. I can't wait for some pure SoL stuff between Shy and Prism... you've only been teasing story #2 to me for over a year now~
