Writer's Block Sucks · 5:37am
The title pretty much says it all. I've been looking forward to writing this chapter of Discordant, but no matter how much I stared at my computer screen, nothing would appear. I'd been hoping to get it out days ago.
Oh well, it happens. With the help of friends and write or die, I've been able to get a little out at a time. Add a move from Discord that completely threw me for a loop, and you have an almost completed chapter. I should be done with it in the next hour, and have it ready for my editing buddy (The Band Brony) an hour or two after that. Hopefully it'll be up in the next day or three.
And because it can't stay in my final draft, have a scene transition:
Rarity cringed away as the pink pony leaned uncomfortably close. “So, uh, yes.”
“Shh,” Pinkie Pie said, holding up a hoof.
“What is it?”
“Bad writing. Can you believe how stilted this is coming out?”
“Uh, come again?”
“Oh, nothing. So, back to the party. I think you need to talk to Spike, right? That’s what it says in the script.”
“Sure, why not?”

I'm kind of dealing with the same thing, if it's any console. I've got a pretty cool storyline planned out, but most of my attempts at writing it come out as stilted and awkward.
You can do!
Have a look!
Haha! Finally done! This one ended up being pretty long, only slightly shorter than chapter 2.

And I finished Chapter 9 in four hours after a week of writers block. I honestly do not understand myself sometimes.
Oh well, look forward to updates, everypony!
