Well, I haven't posted anything in the past few days.  Ever since summer started I've been busy so I haven't been able to put much up or write anything.  I will have a few stories soon, they are all in progress, but after them there's going to be a long drought.  Why you ask?

Because I'm going on VACATION!  

Yes, that's right, vacation is the only time when I'm allowed to do absolutely nothing besides relax and have fun and everybody is okay with it, and I'm going on it.  Sadly, I don't plan on writing while on vacation, especially since a lot of my family lives in my vacationing spot, and therefore I'm going to be spending gargantuan amounts of time with them.  It's quite a long stay, so I won't be getting back to my writing quarters until near the end of summer, and at that point I have so much summer and AP schoolwork to do that I'm going to be buried under with five hundred page biographies about people I don't want to read about and massive assignments to go with those books.

So, sadly, I won't be writing much for the remainder of the summer.  However, that does not mean all hope is lost.

If you've noticed anything about my writing, it's that everything I write is under 5000 words and never gets past the third chapter.  This is because I can't write long stories for the life of me, I just get too bored with what I'm writing and move on.  Luckily, the 5000 word barrier is getting shattered with my latest fic that is in progress, and I do plan on writing a chapter story that I'll stick with in the near future.  

My point is that my stories are all ridiculously short, and therefore can be written in a very small window of time, making it easy to squeeze in writing time in my day.

Also, my summer writing is not all lost.  If I have any free time that can't be spent in other ways both while on vacation and back at home, I'll probably be able to write some stories.  

And the good news just keeps coming.  By the time summer is over and I can get back into my school schedule (which leaves time for ponies), season three of ponies will have started, which means new characters!  And new characters means plenty of ideas for new fics.  

Also, of the stories I have in progress, two of them are nearly finished, so they will be released at some point during the summer.
