Thought I'd offer this to anyone who cares, but Chapter 4 is about halfway done. I might get a bit more done before retiring to bed (remember you likely mostly northern hemisphere readers, I live in Australia so its 2am here). So, expect it sometime this week! I've got to finish planning out the next session of a DnD campaign I'm running on friday which has been on hold for months, but that shouldn't take long since I'm better at improv-DMing (Pathfinder, not wretched 4th ed). As it happens, the maker of the cover image is working on a commission for me of a creature I made for my campaign.

I really do hope I finish this, because it would the first fanfic I've ever actually written until the end. Its going way better then the others did of course, which helps, Let's hope me starting Uni next month won't make effect it too badly. The only other story I've finished properly is the one I won the fanfic contest at the local anime convention with.

Another reason I want to finish it is that I've already had some ideas for sequels. I know, counting my chickens before the progenitor-chicken has actually laid any let eggs. Still, if all goes to plan it would be nice.

Oh, one final note: the main story line is going to follow a bit of a Diablo Act type thing as the recent appearance of "Act I" in all the chapter titles might allude. Four Acts, each with a main plot line for it which ties into an overreaching plotline and, if I'm not being too ambitious, some subplots resolved during each or over one or two Acts.

I really hope I don't look back a month from now and feel embarrassed about saying this and not delivering. That would be shit.
