And now, we come to the final G5 pony of the new main crew. With only four levels and the power of David Silver's Ponyfinder, it's time to finally address the elephant in the room--what happens when you take Rainbow Dash and force her to think for herself? Well, the end result stands before you, and her name is...

From the top of Zephyr Heights, with four levels and the help of David Silver's Ponyfinder work, prances the penultimate pony in this pentagon of premiere pop stars! Izzy Moonbow: Fifth Edition Dungeoneers

It's time for Numero Tres in this series, and boy howdy is it going to be a wacky one. With only four levels to work with, multiclassing is a risky, risky business--especially in D&D Fifth Edition. Luckily for us, David Silver and his Ponyfinder setting have a few very crafty tricks to make things... a little easier. And who is the

Okay, first of all.... · 12:55am Nov 27th, 2014

Yes, I have been putting things on Patreon without posting my usual two day warning. Aside from my sickness, there's been a lot of family drama going on, plus it's thanksgiving, and... it all slipped my mind. I apologize for that. BUT! I have been waiting two days AND! I did not put the Special Bonus Card of Power of Ponies on Patreon because I did not make it. I also don't intend to put the prologue of Knickerbockers on Patreon; while I did make it, it's rather short and probably doesn't deserve to go there. (I will put chapter one up though.)

On to more relevant topics: Pony themed MOBA. Concept: Six players per team, third person camera, four lanes in a rough hourglass shape. Minions are royal guards, Day versus Night. The battlefield has two tiers: Land and Flying; the Flying tier has it's own floating jungle made of clouds and home to flying creeps, but would be accessible to pegasi and some other characters on an endurance timer basis. Possible heroes:
* The Mane Six. A given, and perhaps even permanent freebies.
* Season villains. Chrysalis, Discord, Sombra, Tirek... maaaaaybe Nightmare Moon, if she isn't attached to the Luna character.
* The Royal Family. Luna, Celestia, Cadance, Shining, and of course Blueblood.
* One-episode antagonists, like Trixie, Gilda, Lightning Dust, Garble, Suri Polomare, Flim and Flam...
* Celebrities like the Wonderbolts, Daring Do, Sapphire Shores, Fancy Pants, basically anyone that has some sort of impact on the world.
* Mane Six Family Members, like Big Mac, Maud Pie, Mister Cake, Missus Cake... I don't know whether we could get away with the CMC and Spike joining in, since they're all a younger generation, but what the heck.
* One-shots and named background ponies: Coco Pommel, Cheese Sandwich, Aloe and Lotus, Zecora basically anyone who has a name spoken on the show.
* Officially unnamed background ponies: Lyra, Bonbon, Derpy, Octavia, Vinyl Scratch...
* Historical simulacra: Star Swirl the Bearded, Firefly, Smart Cookie, Clover the Clever. Probably not to start, but as an expansion.
* Fictional simulacra: The Power Ponies, the Headless Horse, the Shadow Pony, that mare from Scootaloo's nightmare... again, expansion.
* Fan Favorite Characters: Nyx, Fluffle Puff, Snowdrop I think her name was? Fausticorn. Definitely an expansion.

So.... kit listing. You guys, take the time to list the kit of any character you think could work for this. One passive ability, three normal abilities, one ultimate ability. And, yeah.

You know what, I admit I cringed when I first saw the MOBA Idea, but then I read your suggestions and it actually seems kinda awesome :D

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but: What is a MOBA? :applejackunsure:

MOBA is short for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. It's a mechanical genre, characterized by giving each player one "Hero," setting them up in two teams, and telling them to go destroy the other team's nexus/totem/titan/what have you. This is generally done by putting the goals on the opposite sides of a map with a few "lanes"--clear direct paths between the bases--and a complicated "Jungle" between the lanes--a maze of smaller paths typically inhabited by neutral camps of monsters that can be killed for experience points and other benefits.

Each team is typically aided in their attack/defense by three things: Minions, regularly spawning waves of allies that simply move down each lane and attempt to attack the enemy; static defenses, usually three towers per lane and a Blocker at the end of each lane that prevents the enemy from producing SUPER MINIONS until it is destroyed; and the hero's own "kits," a group of five abilities (one passive, four leveling active) that define what that hero is and what it can do. There's also generally an in-base store to purchase booster items, like boots of speed or whatnot.

The most famous MOBA is League of Legends, but the genre was really codified by the Warcraft Three custom Defense of The Ancients maps. Because of this origin, most MOBAS are played as a top-down type game, with ground-bound characters who MAYBE have a flight ability that basically just ends up being a super jump. However, some more recent MOBA games, such as the methodologically themed Smite, are doing some experimentation with both mechanics and camera angle. While there is yet to be trueflight, the "flying" abilities are more flexible then an ordinary Superjump. A few tweaks from that model, and you could run a pony themed MOBA...

This theoretical game would probably not be an official production and most likely end up as a fanmade game. The likelyhood of fanmade characters sneaking in increases ever so slightly in that case. But probably not before all the official material is covered.
