Revisiting TER · 5:45am Nov 26th, 2014
Since I'm finally catching up with The Empty Room's excellent spin-off series: The Game of Worlds by the incomparable DualThrone, I went back to re-read a few chapters of TER and thought about writing a bit about how I viewed Nightmares in that story...
But I got caught up in it. It's a damn good story! He said, obviously not biased at all, but then again, any story you write that you can re-read constantly is pretty sweet! I really need to get off my butt and finish rewriting it. Read the original anyway, it's awesome.
Read the original nothing...I am planning on doing a live read of it one day!
I did not know about this spinoff. That's going on the list for sure.
Hmm, Game of Worlds? Seems interesting. I shall read it, and then return to re-re-re-re-rereading The Empty Room.
I found it pretty funny when you started to rewrite the whole thing and then just left it off without completing that rewrite. I'm glad you left the original up for people like me who lacked the patience to wait.
*Grins* Subtle
Was TER actually completed? Cuz I'd rather read something finished and the one on here, ain't.
2617812 there's a chapter in the story that has the whole original version from beginning to end
2617816 I saw it right before you replied, holy shit, I'm totally gonna read that.
I am okay with this.
Also, thanks for pointing out The Game of Worlds, I had not been aware of a spin-off series.
I still, one day, want to turn TER into a DnD Campaign.
Also 2617895 his also. Didn't know there was a spinoff, and I am now really wishing it wasn't a holiday and con weekend
