Dear Princess Celestia, · 1:34am Nov 20th, 2014
Today I learned that you can substitute 2 tbsp of water, 1 tbsp of oil, and 2 tbsp of baking powder for an egg.
I also learned that you should not do this in a recipe meant for the microwave. Your cookie will explode into chocolate-chip foam all over the inside of the microwave.
Just thought you should know.

Perky Pickles
PS: If you figured out how to make it reliably, you could totes put that shit on coffee. They do that these days, did you know that?
I know that feel, man.

Eggs on coffee? What a waste of a perfectly good egg.

Ah, cooking calamities. How have I not burnt down my apartment yet?
This is why I mostly stick to eating out.
That's cool! Will keep in mind.

I believe it was a reference to chocolate chip foam being put on coffee, not egg being put on coffee.
Seriously? Why would you want to replace the egg?
Reminds me of the time my sister tried to bake cookies by microwaving cookie dough.
Or the time I started a grease fire on a backyard charcoal grill.
Little interesting tip. If your making pancakes or something like it, and the recipe calls for egg, applesauce makes a really good substitute! I've done it and it tastes just as good.

Next time, Imma just use applesauce. :|

I have problems with egg yolks. D:
2605870
Oh, like allergies?
2605870 Good plan.
2605872
Well, given that it's a foreign substance that causes an adverse physical reaction, I'd say yeah. o.o Never thought about that.
2605902 If it gives you a histamine reaction (rash, breathing difficulties, congestion) it's an allergy. If it gives you the runs, constipates you, or makes you throw up, it's an intolerance.
2605929 Or just a bad egg.
2606005 Well yes, obviously.
2605929
Well, there you go, then. :)
2605761
Well, see, now you're just making sense.
actualy, there are recipies where you put an egg into Chai Tea ... is really good.. >.> i may or may not be adictied to Chai.

You can use an egg to keep loose coffee grounds from floating up into the water; it's called "cowboy coffee". :B The more you know?
2606005 Bad egg, Bad egg, whatcha gonna do...
And we shouldn't do this... why?
2607693
Cuz it wasn't entirely cooked foam, for one. :B Also made the mug hard to hold without getting it everywhere.
