The 11th. · 10:50pm Nov 11th, 2014
So.
Today's the 11th of November.
Bit of a... Special day for me. Though, not for reasons I want.
See, 16 years ago, on this day, my father died.
It rather sucked, if I may say it.
Ah well. Time to crack a beer and blast the one band that closely reminds me of him:
Cherish your loved ones, legion. You never realize how much they mean till they are gone. Pointless blog is pointless. I just wanted to commemorate him somehow.
Also it's Veteran's day. Shit I am out of touch today.
~Skeeter The Lurker
I'll drink to that.

Thanks, dude.

Pointless blog?
I don't think so. I believe every blog has a point, and this one has meaning to it, as well.

Oooo, good choice.
2588780
Heh, thanks, dude.
2588786
Appreciate it, man. I truly do.
~Skeeter The Lurker
I'd say this blog is far from pointless.
I'd drink to it, but I don't drink. Instead, I'll pour a beer out for him as I do in respect of my grandfather.
Sorry to hear that man.
I have 14 siblings......never thought how sad it might be to be the last one left.

Glad you think so. Thank you.
2588801
Heh, that works too.
2588805
Oof... That's... Yeahhhh.
~Skeeter The Lurker
I don't drink, so instead I will down some red Gatorade to that.
This blog ain't pointless. I'm rather touched that you would share something like that with us, so thank you.
Cheers man.
Sorry to hear of your loss like this bud.
Also, if there are any veterans reading this, thanks for your service for today.

He was good son real good, Maybe even the best.
Paying tribute to a loved one is never pointless. I still cry when I hear my late grandmothers voice on my granddads answering machine - she died when I was 16. I have a lot of regrets there...
As for your dad, major respect to him. I hope you're doing well, Skeeter. Keep your head up.
My sympathies. I've seen death way too close, and can't help but open a bear too on this day. Cheers, for the memories we have of the past, and smiles for those who live tomorrow.
You have my condolences. I'm a little jealous as mine died when I was two and I have no memories of him, but I keep being reminded by others that I was his favorite(My brother hadn't entered the picture until a month before his death; we were both adopted). Cherish those memories; they keep him alive.
You have my condolences
My dad's final few years were very hard on the whole family.
