Twilight floated a second fritter up to her mouth when she realized the first was gone. “What is in these things?” “Mostly love. Love ‘n about three sticks of butter.”

Blast from the Past: Now 100% Less Likely to Get Me In Trouble

Hey, some of you guys remember that thing I did a long time ago, where I wrote up 50 questions about headcanon and suggested people answer them on their blogs, and then, like, everyone on the site wanted to do it, and then the site mods sent me nice but stern messages suggesting I cut that shit out because it was spamming people's feeds?

    Full Circle

Wanderer D posted a touching retrospective of his time in fandom, and that made me remember the very first I ever heard of the show.

(Potential implied spoilers but maybe not? below.)

Only fair... · 10:43pm Nov 8th, 2014

I will be making another blog post later this evening with content.

But. With how many pixels I've spent on not liking RariJack, it's only fair that when someone writes an absolutely beautiful RariJack fic, I owe it to tip my hat and encourage other people to read it.

Mistakes Were Made by Sharp Spark has jumped onto not only my Top Romance bookshelf, but my Top FIcs. I like it better than I like a lot of AppleDash or TwiJack (though not as much as I like my favorite AppleDash or TwiJack. But still, this is pretty big.) So if you're not going to check out another RariJack fic in your life, check out this one.

Why do all the recommended shipping fics I see always have to be sad? :raritydespair:

It's... not totally sad. It doesn't end sad if that helps...

As a big RariJack fan, Ill be sure to check this out =P

2582643
Hm... Apparently only one of my favorited romance stories is also tagged sad, and that one I didn't even favorite for the romance :V
Then again, there's only a bunch of them that I genuinely favorited because of the romance...

oooooh :D

All right, you talked me into it :raritydespair:

I'm not sure if you've mentioned them before, but for comparison what are your favorite AppleDash or TwiJack stories?

2582959
For AppleDash, I like Left Behind (by Gold), Fool's Gold (humanized, by Merc the Jerk, JaketheGinger, and Peregrine Caged,) and the Trixieverse (by Applejinx.)

For TwiJack, it's Yours Truly (by Thanqol), and Stardust in My Eyes (by Mousapelli)

ETA: I think all of them are on my Top Fic Recs shelf.

Have you read A Terrible Reason To Be Unhappy?

If you liked this story, you'll probably like it. Indeed, this story reminded me of Lion's story. Now if only I could bully encourage Lion to finish it...

Since it hasn't updated in so long, I'm tracking it to see if it updates. Given my own track record with fic-finishing, I'm not holding my breath, and I'm in no position to judge.

That was good. I'd even go so far to say it's a better RariJack than I've ever wrote. And this is coming from a guy that doesn't like on again off again RariJack fics.
