Gothic: Magna Anima Nocte · 11:01am Nov 3rd, 2014
Back in October 2012 I started planning a story. It was to be the best story I would write for this site, going beyond a simple idea to an actual novel worthy of representing the genre it was written for… and here is the first chapter, finally, after a long hiatus and me finally feeling up to retaking it.
I hinted at it a couple of times during interviews and chats, always keeping it close to my heart and not showing much other than my intent to write it.
I haven’t written something like this in a long time, so I hope you guys give it a try and a real chance… it will build slowly, but it’s very thoroughly planned and incorporates elements of storytelling one hundred percent relevant to Gothic literature. If that sort of literature is your thing, I’m aiming for you to love it… if it isn’t… you’ll love it too, so read it.
This is really a very involved story, and something I’m particularly proud of doing, so I really do want to read your comments and thoughts on it as I post the chapters for it.
Perhaps it was destiny that I would resolve to finish the first chapter during the Day of the Dead as this story came back to me like a ghost haunting a lonely writer.
Only time will tell if it was a good thing.
Edit: Also, I know that the art (or a version of it) was used for Exit Through Canterlot. It looks very different, so I doubt anyone will be confused.
Yes, that was my plan, to read it.
I do intend to read it, and I would also have asked who the romance tag was for, but it's sort of a spoiler so I doubt you'd tell. Regardless, it looks interesting from the description alone. Good luck with it.
Trixie, Sapphire Shores, Blueblood, Vinyl, and Octavia as the tagged characters?
A cast like that already makes it interesting.

2571729 I'm aware, but you're till a big stinky butt!
Hmm. I'm guessing that after you finish this you might try to become a published author. Oh sure you'll still write fanfiction, but it could potentially be something even more original that you plan on working on in private next time.
You've been planning this for over two years?! Man, that's dedication!
Really looking forward to reading this one just as soon as I get a chance
