I suck · 7:51am Nov 1st, 2014
I know, no update, despite the fact I promised it.
No excuses. Just me apologizing for sucking so bad.
My plan, if I can actually sit down to write, is a new chapter every month. The problem is I get lazy and writing the story isn't exactly easy, especially as we're getting into the whole "good guys getting their butts kicked" part most epic stories have to go through (Empire Strikes Back, anyone?) and I don't enjoy putting the characters through it.
All I can say, is I'll take this failure to heart and try better. Here's hoping November will be the good luck month.
Although if Charlie Crist wins the governor's election here I just might go on a screaming drunken rage fit, which would delay things.
Perhaps I just need to be confused like a cat:

It's always darkest before the dawn.
I'm pretty sure you'll love what happens after the good guys get kicked down.

Yeah, and you'll imagine it a lot better than a hack like me could ever write.

*rolls up newspaper* NO. Bad Rokas, bad!
I, for one, love what I've read so far and I hope you can continue to write. Take your time and make it awesome!
Procrastination is a slippery slope mein friend, one moment you're telling yourself you'll just finish this one game of battlefield before you'll go searching for jobs then the next thing you know you're a social reject who's been unemployed for 4 years, lives with his mother and hasn't left the house in 6 months.
I'd beat it now before is exacerbates it'self exponentially.

Heh, thanks. It means something coming from a good writer like you.

Tell me about it.
It can be hard as a writer to kick the crap out of characters you love. I know it from experience.
I think Tarol Hunt of Goblins fame had a break down a few months ago in part because of having to kill a character he liked.

Indeed. Part of the problem I have writing is I know I'm going to have to kill characters in this and upcoming chapters. Characters I like, characters the readers like, but need to die for the story. It's... not pleasant to contemplate. And certainly a detriment to actually sitting down and writing, in addition to the plain psychological and physical torture that war does to people.
Congrats on getting the Floridian Arlen Specter out of office.
And it's good to know you're still working on the story. Though last chapter really made me think that these guys need some heavy mortars. Just keep firing over the ledge at the enemy until they run out of ammo.

... Does that mean I have to use a Super Sledge to get through to you?
it's only by getting their butts kicked can they comeback stronger. so far, they have been beaten and been hurt. Celestia is in a Coma and has nearly been killed while out. I think it might be Phoenix time.
Well you don't seem to be dead, and have just nuked your story without word or reason. That's more then some people
