Almost Halloween.
For me, it's not a holiday that I go nuts over, still enjoy Christmas a lot more because presents. But it is a really fun holiday to dress up, have some scares, and candy. Ohh the candy. I like my sugar in more liquid form, soda/pop, but the delicious candy that comes out for Halloween. It is the only time of year that my Grandma will make homemade candied apples with nuts... and then there is the caramel popcorn. So caramel gets me every time.
For Halloween I don't have a lot of plans. Going to unveil the "non-leathal" version of my Edward Kenway costume, from Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, at school. But that's it since I have clinicals Saturday. I don't have the weapons done, so that's why it's the nonlethal version. I have 3 out of the 4 flintlock pistols, no swords, hidden blades, or the blow dart gun. This was going to be the comic con costume for me. I'm going to have much of the base done and then I'll slowly add detail to it until I go to the next SLCC or to ECCC.
Do you guys have some fun traditions/events planned for Friday?
And one more question. Do you guys have a good FimFiction story in mind for Halloween? I'm looking for a good scary story to read since I'm not doing anything and won't be out late. Looking for more of the serious Halloween stories. I like psych-horror, but don't mind gore-horror either. I am looking to avoid Rainbow Factory, and Cupcakes since I'm already aware of those.
I do have one suggestion for you, if you enjoy the Amnesia video games, there is a interesting Amnesia story called Amnesia: To Err by JLB. It had some good psych moments, a bit difficult for me to follow, but apparently won approval by Amnesia fans. (I have not played the game).

I'll answer with something that you've probably read as it's rather well-known. If not... Then do that. A Fleeting Light In The Darkness may have an off-putting title (especially after you read some of what I wrote), but it's one of my favorite fics of all time. It's one of the VERY, very few things that have managed to scare me via text. Without any help from myself, TRYING to get scared.
Since my work has nearly ceased I'm trying to write a psych horror... No idea how good itll be. I'm just tryin to get some practice since I've been absent so long... Maybe you'll like that one!

Thank you for that mention. I read both of the stories, and they were fantastic. I thought I put a lot of thought and planning into my stories, but to have a code at the end with the key hidden in the cover art, not too mention hidden messages. It was good. Reminded me of one where Twilight was dead and writing to Celestia still, and killing ponies to bring them to her.
