Brace Yourselves... November Is Coming. (Oh, and winter, or something.) · 11:48pm Oct 28th, 2014
So, I've had a lot of issues coming up over the past few months that have been keeping me off of fimfiction for a while, now, and left me unable to write in general. I'm not certain if I've really resolved them, but enough is enough. I NEED to write something, ANYTHING. And I know exactly how I'm going to kick myself back into gear:
Now, for those of you unfamiliar with NaNoWriMo, it's an abbreviation for "National Novel Writing Month!" This is an event where courageous writers take on the challenge of writing a 50,000 word novel in one month! (1,667 words per day, but who's counting, right?) This is going to be my very first attempt at the event, so I'm a little nervous, but I'm not going to let it stop me!
Now, I'm currently at the point where I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to write about, but I would like for it to be relatively self-contained. So... I must apologetically ask you not to expect one of my stories on here to suddenly explode with activity. I'll most likely be working on an individual idea, rather than some form of fanfiction. Unfortunately, this does mean that I probably won't be returning for about another month...
But, on the bright side, I am going to pull myself out of this slump if it kills me!!!
So, are any of you participating in NaNoWriMo, as well? If so, feel free to chat about it in the comments, and hopefully we can all survive this together! And keep in mind that (provided that this slump DOESN'T kill me) I'll be back to working on the Happy Adventuring Saga in December!
