Hocus Pocus: The finale begins! · 8:06pm Oct 27th, 2014
Totally making a blog post from a work computer on my lunch break.
So, with the release of chapter 17 of Hocus Pocus, Dinky and her friends are now marching headlong into the danger you all knew was eventually coming. After a year and a half of writing (admittedly, it shouldn't have taken me that long), we're approaching the finale.
There are three more chapters still unpublished (although, at the rate I'm writing, Chapter 18 is probably only a week or two away), and they're going to be appropriately action-packed, so I hope those of you who have stuck with me all this time are as excited for the big finale as I am!
I appreciate all the feedback in the comments, and I have a ton of fun watching you all theorize about some of the mysteries that haven't been solved yet.
I'll deliver Chapter 18 as soon as I can!

Well I sure hope Sparkler comes to her senses and calls the dean out on his stupidity before it's too late.

I'm just really hoping Honeydew gets some nice resolution with her family, probably in a side-chapter, though a sequel would also be cool. Or would it be a triquel?
Personally, I hope her dad gets a restraining order and/or a princess to the face. Which would be more terrifying, royal canterlock mode, or Princess Celestia is disappoint?

Yeah this last chapter makes it quite evident we're heading into the end!
Granted this isn't my favorite type of story (I was drawn in because I always feel compelled to read sequels to stores I enjoyed) but it's very well written and I enjoyed it anyway. Thanks for bringing us along on this wild ride of yours!

This has been a real fun ride. I loved Shipping and this one has been fun as well. I'm hoping that you continue on with this universe after Hocus Pocus as well. It's nice to see Dinky get some love in a good fan fic for a change. Most of the other fan fics I read and follow has fell of so I'm glad that this one is still alive and kicking. :)
