Hello everyone.
So it's been a while since I've had an actual update blog on things other than convention news, and it's probably time to correct that. Like, right now.
Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks - I've seen this several times recently, and it was great each time. I won't give any spoilers out, but I can say one thing. Junebug and Lyra might be my favorite ponies (and Rarity my fav of the Mane Six), but best human goes to this girl right here:
Yeah, I went there. Sunset Shimmer just booted Pinkie out of my top 5. And I love Pinkie.
Worlds Apart: At Eternity's End - Yeah, I know. I need to update this. I'll be honest though, the initial reception has been disappointing. I was expecting more readers of PonyFall to move onto this one, but it's sitting at only a few hundred readers right now. On the other hand, that's a few hundred readers who want to see more, so I'll get onto it soon. I know what needs to happen, I'm just trying to be a bit more descriptive in this story than I have been in previous ones. If I'm to grow as a writer, I need to get past taking the easy way out of always going light on descriptions. Bear with me on this one, but it'll get there.
Lyra's Ultimate Item Emporium - This one is very slowly trying to creep into the top 100 stories on FiMFiction. I'm honored and humbled that people have enjoyed this story enough that it even has a chance. Something a recent commenter said is true, though. It updates far too slowly for as short as the chapters are. Being honest once again, the slowness here is a combination of a lack of motivation (a direct result from being overworked and stressed out at work), and not wanting to screw it up. Lyra and Bon Bon have just been forced to team up with the Flim Flam brothers, and we all know that things aren't going to be very peachy between them. I'm determined to keep this story updated at least somewhat regularly, so stick with it, y'all!
To Dream Again - Formerly I Dreamed a Dream..., this story is the result of an MLP Connect 4 Writing Challenge I took with Cerulean Voice. Basically, I beat him and had to use the four characters I won with (Princess Luna, Applejack, Trixie, and Diamond Tiara) in a story. Well, this is a story that, once I figured out what I wanted to write, I got very excited about. So much so that it is the first story I've ever written that has been outlined 100% before I began writing. Again, in my efforts to improve as a writer, I wanted to see how much of an improvement this would make, if any. Some people are just better writing by the seat of their pants, so to speak, but I'm willing to adapt if it means better quality. This story will take a good, hard look at the secrets that Applejack, Trixie, and Diamond Tiara keep hidden within each day of their lives. It also has a cool villain (in my opinion). Hope you like it once it's released!
Fluttershy Becomes Death - This is another story I got very excited about. Inspired by Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality series, the idea of Fluttershy accidentally becoming Death began to fascinate me more and more as I thought about the encounters she might deal with, and the decisions she might make. In continuing with my attempt to have at least one story that focuses on a single member of the Mane Six for each one of the ponies, this would be Fluttershy's entry. We already have Twilight (Half-Minute Horses), Rarity (Surface Deep), and Pinkie Pie (The Day My Beard Turned Into Pinkie Pie), and To Dream Again might count as Applejack, so all I'd have left is to write a Rainbow Dash story. Anyway, I'm excited about this one.
Other Stories Still waiting to be written are Still Imaginary, the sequel to the tear-jerker, Imaginary, as well as the one story I get asked to write the most: a sequel to If Only In My Dreams. I'm aiming to have one ready for the holiday season, as Rose's first adventure was released at that time.
Other News I'll be attending PonyCon AU 2015 up in Surfer's Paradise in February. My aim is to have at least one more story finished by then, preferably two or more. I really just need some inspiration and support as I deal with a lot of stress and am usually emotionally drained by the time I get in front of my computer. I know I need to get writing again, and keep at it, so just bear with me and maybe send some good vibes this way. I'll get there eventually.

Sunset Shimmer is pretty great.
Definitely looking forward to more Lyra, and especially more Rose.
I'm 5k into my challenge fic. Maybe we should try to get them posted at the same time and promote each other, like what LuminoZero and Draconian Soul did with Training his Relief and A Shining Pair.
To Dream Again... that one should be fun.
