Build-A-Bear Workshop is doing a survey on which MLP plushies you'd like to see. I have my preferences, of course, and I'm not going to tell you what to like. But if you like the Build-A-Bear plushies and want to see a specific character, you can vote on it here.
I like the BaB plushies, personally. They're awfully nice and at $25, the price is right. You can give them to a kid and not worry about them messing up "art," but they're also nice enough to collect. I have both Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, and while Fluts stands guard over my router in full Gala regalia, I'm not embarrassed to admit that Pinkie shares my bed with me, a stuffed lamb, a tiger in a leather jacket, and a manatee.
If Build a Bear and Hasbro are smart enough to start making "unpopular" characters and taking business away from offshore knockoffs in China, I'm happy to support 'em. Anyway, go on ahead and make your opinions known! (They have surveys for other cartoons up, too.)
Heck, I wish I had a Pinkie Pie to sleep with I think CoCo Pommel would be popular, although I'm meh about her, she would be a big sale. Flutterbat would be good for this time of year.
Sadly there are no build-a-bears here in Australia.
It's actually disappointing that the licensed Hasbro plushies are of such a low quality (I mean, they didn't even get Twilight's cutie mark right, and Dash's wings look like blue leaves) that the China knock off's are better.
Though right now, the three plushies we own are solely the property of my daughter, who I am ashamed to admit, is a TwiDasher, in that she seems to like mashing Twilight and Rainbow Dash's faces together.
Though the way she sucks on Trixie's muzzle… I think I know who my daughter's "waifu" is.
2529149 Yeah, she would, although I'm kind of meh about her, too. I'd think Maud Pie would be popular, too. The ones they suggested were Princess Celestia/Luna/Cadance (pick your favorite); Lyra, Spitfire and a couple of other background ponies (pick your favorite); Doctor Hooves/Vinyl Scratch/Octavia, and . . . can't remember, pick your favorite--stuff like that. I suggested Cheese (it's never going to happen, which is why I commissioned a plush), Babs Seed, Big Mac, and I think one other.
I think in order to be picked, they'll have to LOOK nice as well as be popular fandom characters: something a person would collect. Cheese would be a hard sell, but I could see Big Mac, maybe, to go with his sisters and to have at least one boy other than Spike. Any character with a figure or a doll seems more likely, too.
Luna's going to happen. No question.
2529204 I agree on Luna and Maud. I would like Lyra, but Vinyl's pretty popular with the fans.
I hope to get BaB plushies of Applejack and Rainbow Dash before long myself. The ones that I've seen online look quite nice, and AJ has her hat, which is a plus for me.
As for which pony that I'd like to see them do next, I submitted Daring Do. She'd make a lovely trio with AJ and Dash.
2529202 Already? Isn't your daughter kinda teeny for that?
Actually, that's kind of adorable. Build A Bear has a mail order/website, but I have no idea if they ship or what the shipping costs would be. Probably considerably more than the cost of the plush.
And as we know, Rainbow Dash's face mashes nicely into anypony's face, although she didn't seem to when I went to see Bronies: The Musical this afternoon. Yes, it was hilarious. And yes, I'm working on a review for that and the Daring Do books, too.
2529365 D'OH! WHY didn't I think of Daring! Daring and Babs Seed are the only custom brushables I own! (Well, them, and a My Little Remus I picked up at a HP convention, but he's on a G3 base.) For Daring I would break down and get another plushie, and I am trying not to buy more pony merch because it's taking over my house. But whatever, between my age and the cats, I was never going to get a date again, so having ponies and stuffed animals all over the place isn't going to matter.

She was shipping before she was born. Lol, well, not really. But yeah, probably just coincidence, but she has actually chosen the ponies a her favorite toys (and screams loudly when she doesn't have them!)
So they are either smooching, or she is already wanting a return of Fighting is Magic.
Actually, one of the gifts we got from the baby shower was kind of funny. I think the chinese factory that made the little headbands just picked a random MLP picture from google images, cause I don't imagine many hasbro licensed products would have cute little pictures of Rainbow Dash and AJ smooching, with love hearts all around them.
Hmmm, you're right. It seems RD's face goes with anything for smooches!
2529384 *chuckles* I have absolutely no clue, darlin'. But then again, I didn't think of Babs, either.
The CMC, yes. Babs (and yes, I know she's one, too), no.
Hey, ponies (the plushie and toy varieties, anyway) taking over your house is a good thing.
And I hear ya about the dating thing. At my age, I ain't worryin' about it, either...although in my case, I have a dog, rather than a cats/cats. (My favorite brother-in-law isn't a big fan of cats, y' see.)
And no, it ain't.
