So, things are being written, slowly but surely. My focus is on Rarity Snuggles Everypony at the moment, and I'm getting a page or two of work done on it every day! Things are happening, and it feels good to be writing more, as opposed to being consumed by my job and training.
So, how about this site update? I actually like the new Library stuff with the custom shelf options and how things have been organized. The front page looks a little odd, but the changes aren't so radical and crazy as to make me go "What the hell is this?". I think this is a good thing. I especially like the way the Rating System has been updated, with the rating plainly displayed near the title of the story so you can easily parse things.
What do you all think of the update? I'm sure there's a few places where people are talking about it, but I haven't seen an official site post about the changes yet.
Hopefully next blog post I make will be coming alongside a new chapter of Rarity Snuggles Everypony! Stay tuned!
I really like the new changes. I already went through my Favorites and sorted out the ones that better belong in Tracking for me (and I'll probably do further bookshelves later with a lot more clarity as to what shelf for what). Frankly, the bookshelves change is one I've been waiting for since they first announced it.
It took a few for me to get used to the new layout, but having the rating in such a visible place is very nice. The changes to the story status were also a bit weird, but again, now it's up in a more visible location and the icons are pretty obvious as to what each one is. The chapter dropdown inside a story is also pretty handy. I'm sure I'll find other things as I use the site, too. So far, I'm all positives for this update, though.
I love this update!
Except the fact that there is no auto-sort for a shelve.
...Not very helpful when you have 3000 stories to slog through and sort.
