Twilight floated a second fritter up to her mouth when she realized the first was gone. “What is in these things?” “Mostly love. Love ‘n about three sticks of butter.”

Blast from the Past: Now 100% Less Likely to Get Me In Trouble

Hey, some of you guys remember that thing I did a long time ago, where I wrote up 50 questions about headcanon and suggested people answer them on their blogs, and then, like, everyone on the site wanted to do it, and then the site mods sent me nice but stern messages suggesting I cut that shit out because it was spamming people's feeds?

    Full Circle

Wanderer D posted a touching retrospective of his time in fandom, and that made me remember the very first I ever heard of the show.

(Potential implied spoilers but maybe not? below.)

Ask a Pony: Round Two · 7:47am Oct 5th, 2014

Just tell me when we're ready, Pinkie.

Oh, we started a few seconds ago.

We did? Oh!

Fillies and gentlecolts of Earth, a while ago we opened up communication to help some people with friendship, romance, and whatever other advice we could offer. We had fun doing it, and we hope we helped some people--

That's why we're doing it again!

I was just about to announce that, Pinkie.

Anyway, as Pinkie Pie said, we're going to be able to answer more questions! As a reminder of how it works, you can submit questions addressed to whoever you'd like to hear from, or to "anypony" if you just want to hear from whoever has something to say. We prefer not to answer personal questions about ourselves, but we will sometimes talk about our opinions or Equestria in general if you really want to know.

This time we are going to have to limit it to fifty questions, and they have to be submitted by Sunday, October 12th, so we might not get to every question. But we'll try to get to a good variety of interesting, funny, and important ones, so whatever your question is, feel free to ask! Also, the answers might not be posted right away, so if your question is time sensitive, you might want to ask somepony on Earth.

Oh! And if you're not sure what to ask, or how to ask it, you can see the questions we answered before here:
The Ponies Answer 1
The Ponies Answer 2
The Ponies Answer 3
The Ponies Answer 4
The Ponies Answer 5
The Ponies Answer 6

And now, without further ado, you can submit your questions here: Ask a Pony!

Twilight: Why do you think male and female ponies exhibit sexual dimorphism? Earth (the planet) ponies and horses don't.

Fluttershy: what animals are easiest and hardest to talk to? Why?

Twilight: Do you suppose Earth has latent magic, but no animals have evolved that can detect, interact with, or use it, or that it has no magic? Rainbow, are there animals that can fly without magic in Equestria? (If Earth has no magic, pegasi would be much more effected than unicorns or earthens.)

Am I doing this right?

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle.

What are Unicorn horns made of, and are they actually that colour or do they have a layer of fur on them?

Signed your faithful bronie Sollace.

Was that right?

--Sollace

Twilight, could you tell us about Equestria's alphabet and grammar? We occasionally get to see glimpses of it, but it is difficult to attempt to decipher. A well-read mare like yourself might find it trivial, but it would be great to be able to read Equestian script.

You might want to click on the link and submit the questions that way. It makes them easier to keep track of.

Ask a Pony. in case you're lazy.

Twilight, what circumstances have caused the (by Earth standards) odd technological progress within Equestria? Especially how the level of technology seems to vary by region. Manehattan for instance, seems to have more "advanced" technology than, say Appleoosa.

YES! :twilightsheepish: Those were so fun! Looking forward to the answers. I'll drop something in the gdoc box when I settle on a question.

Oh, thanks. I didn't see that.

I almost threw something in here until I went back to see how you wanted the questions formatted and clicked a few of your previous ones looking for how others asked them. The link to the submitter should be labeled as such instead of looking like a possible link to your first Ask a Pony! blog.

IE And now, without further ado submit your questions at : Link.

Hey, will questions asked through the form before this post but after the last AAP be answered?

That will depend on if I get enough interesting questions this time. If there's something you really want answered, best to resubmit to be sure. It'll be higher priority that way.
