    Update (Without excuses this time!)

Guess what? I'm done writing the next chapter of Manifesto.

I just need to give my prereaders a day or two to look over it, and then it'll go up.

Until then, here's Despacito being played on a guzheng.

    Hey, everyone.

I've somehow gotten out of the habit of posting updates. Oops.

Anyway, you've no doubt noticed that I don't post as often as I once did in the past. This is largely because improvements in my life situation mean I have the wherewithal to engage in hobbies other than writing fanfiction.

    Update.

Goodness, it's been a while, hasn't it? You're probably wondering why my pace has slowed down on Manifesto. Well, there are several reasons, but the most relevant one is that I find myself rewriting large swaths of this chapter as I zero in on the best plan for Sunset to take. I'm basically going back and forth between two ideas that can't really be combined into a single one, and for

    New Story Incoming

In case you missed my last blog post, I'm taking a break from the adventures of Celestia and Daring Do to write the next Petriculture story. At this point it looks like it'll be fairly short -- about two chapters long -- and I recently finished up the first chapter, which will be posted once my prereaders give it a final once-over.

While working on the next chapter of Flash Fog:

It's certainly something to think about.
On a related note, I need to watch the Equestria Girls movies eventually.

If only because it turned out that both Lyra and Bon-Bon turned out to be right about [humans].

They are very susceptible to magic, and they would make a formidable army for the invasion of Equestria.

we're also very good at exploiting things

Basically, the first movie demonstrated that their ideas aren't mutually exclusive.
Or at least, that's what the summaries seem to indicate.

two sides of the same coin
probably why [Lyra and Bon-Bon] can still deal with each other

Yeah, humans in the movie universe do seem to be easily brainwashed. Of course, evolving in an almost magicless environment probably doesn't lend itself to strong spell resistance.

The question is, could Bon-Bon convince Lyra to wrest control of the humans from their master?

I still like the idea that Equestrians really are little ponies, and the army of humans would be an army of giants.

Of course, given the way the portal works, that leaves one to wonder if they would have stayed brainwashed on the other side, turning into ponies there.

On a related note, I am now curious as to what Sunset Shimmer would have looked like after crossing over in her demon form.

Since you've brought up the movie, I've been recommending everyone watch this preview

And then read this:

Only if unicorns and Co worked from shadows. Direct approach will most likely end in disaster.
